They want Destiny: the Halo 2.3/5:bungie//remake.NOW. Bright side, you will never satisfy us all. Downside we want you to fail. You will fail. Congrats on lovingly hostile community inheritance. Ya’ll made an okay game. Nice job, sorry about your luck. Hopefully, ya’ll will make a better one next time. I PROMISE WE WILL HATETHAT ONE FOR NO REASON. TOO. Seriously, wheres my animation cancels from h2:3 though

You know it is
That’s the unfortunate thing. Everybody just isn’t accepting that Halo is changing. Tactics change to remain successful, and Halo is doing the same. I’ve used this analogy before for some people in the community, but here it is again.
Some people are willing to put this dog down, just because it learned a few new tricks.

It didn’t learn new tricks, it saw a pigeon jump from a rooftop and fly away, now it’s trying to do the same, not realizing it’s a dog. Unfortunately, everytime it jumps, it falls eight stories down onto the busiest road of the city and needs to be taken to the hospital for emergency surgery.
@OP: We already saw what happens when 343 does not listen to the community. It was called Halo 4. (For better or for worse.)
I’bE beEn plyan Halo for 2 weks anD i wantt meny tankz lol.
Awesome.

Yes, the new tricks of corporate greed and lazy development. Let’s praise that dog while it pisses all over my brand new bear skin rug.
“But I want this thing added so bad! But when you add it, I’ll call you a -Yoink!- Satan that’s killing Halo!”
Actually, they should listen to the community, but only those who know how Halo is supposed to play. And it should play like the previous Bungie titles, because those are much better than this generic FPS game we have now.

It learned few, and kept fewer. The story was short, there was no side PVE experience like firefight, or spartan ops, (warzone is fun, but shouldn’t be a replacement), there is no falcon, or hornet like vehicle, and there is little vehicle combat, and worse, there is no splitscreen, which was traded for better graphics, and more xbox sales. Granted some of the new abilities are fun, and breakout is extremely tense (in a good way). Personally I hope when Reach is refurbished 343 will take a look at the good, and the bad, that Bungie did with the franchise.

It should play like Reach? Or like Halo 2, or Halo 3, or maybe CE? You see, it cant play like all of them at once because there are some major differences between the original trilogy alone. Things like dual wielding, hitscan, equipment, weapon functionality. So there isnt a definitive way Halo should play. One thing 343 got right is gameplay and weapon balance, far better than any Bungie Halo.
However Bungie packed their games with content and even expanded on previous games. This is 343’s fatal flaw. They have been removing and replacing traditional Halo features ever since they took the wheel. Co-op split screen, co op matchmaking, Firefight have taken a backseat to Warzone and REQ packs. Also Halo 5 playlists pale in comparison to Bungie Halos.
343 needs to look at how robust Bungie Halos were.
lol some people are never happy.

Well it definitely shouldn’t play like a generic FPS game, like it is currently with the TTK being so fast and the stupid mechanics such as Sprint and Armour abilities. I realize that Halo 4 had armor abilities before COD, but the way that they were implemented reminds me too much of COD. But other than that, what you said. Honestly, I didn’t use dual weapons enough for me to like them, so I don’t particularly care about dual wielding. I feel a good Halo game would be Reach without all of the stupid parts of that game, such as Armor Abilities, Bloom and stupid maps.

Pretty sure the game is meant to be played however the game designers design it to be played. Right now those designers are within 343i. Life changes. If you want to play a previous halo then perhaps you should go play that older version of halo. Everyone else will be content with halo 5 because it is actually a good game.

Do I even need to bother pointing out what is wrong with what you just said?
I don’t hate Halo 5 for no reason; there are plenty of reasons.

What’s with your spelling. Also people will always hate on halo because people like to hate on good things.

Uh, yeah, I said Reach without the stupid parts. In fact, had you not cut what I just said, you would have seen that I elaborated by saying Bloom and Armor abilities. I guess I should also include a higher base movement, a higher jump, you know, all of the good things of the original Halo games.
