I never knew we had to set the bar so low. When I hear DLC I think of developer created maps (not canvases or forge maps) also techinaclly forge maps aren’t DLC since I can just create them myself. (Unlike actual DLC).
Also not hating on forge creators but forge maps are no where near the same as developer made maps.

> Literally incorrect. Battle of Noctus, Overgrowth, And 4 forge canvases in Cartographer’s Gift, Riptide and Urban in Infinity’s Armory, Torque in Hammer Storm, Darkstar and Tyrant in Ghosts of Meridian, Stasis in Memories of Reach, and Molten, Prospect, Sanctum, and Tidal in WZFF. That’s 16 maps. 343 also said that they are going to continue supporting the game with content updates. Nowhere did they lie. Blatant bait m8
Exactly! I still don’t understand the extraordinary amount of angst within some members of the Halo community.
Life is too short to be so cynical, folks. Take a deep breath, and you might just see that that glass is half full, too!

So no one is gonna bring up the fact that forge was an all new gamemode added to Halo and canvases were made with dedicated terrain and pre-made maps also shipped with each forge canvas, as where in Halo 5 forge isnt new to the franchise, there are no pre-made maps with each canvas and the maps are all flat and barren.
Alpine - Breakout Arena - Glacier - Parallax - Blue Planet, Halo Ring, ExosphereAs DLC forge canvases. That would raise the Dev map count to 19 (21 depending on how you count the versions of Parallax)
This thread is irrelevant. 343i has done an excellent job with post-launch support; we have the maps we need and the means to make more maps if we want more.

I feel that way about nearly every map in Halo 5. I only play because I love the mechanics of Halo compared to other shooters. I’m not surprised though considering Haven was the only standout map in Halo 4.

Remember, 343 are constantly doing bits after bits, they can’t ALWAYS reach their targets, at least thank them for giving us infection, forge, firefight, bleeding badass tank and mantis, gravity hammer, UNSC air vehicle, etc
and yeah yeah “should of been in the game already” but again, 343 had a time target to get the game released by microsoft, they didn’t had enough time.
