They claim we can’t mix and match armor because their system doesn’t allow it.
The bots are doing it which proves that was a lie. You can look up the screenshots on reddit. A Spartan in regular armor has the samurai sword on his waist and deer antlers on his head which is locked to the samurai helmet for players.
Also, there’s literal duplicate colors/ you have to unlock the same color for different armor cores also proves that was a lie.
The bots have more customization options than we do. ಥ_ಥ
the one with the cat ears still makes me laugh tho. lol.
You can also try out any item/coating on any core in the Waypoint app. There’s no reason for being so restrictive in game.

The excuse ‘the system doesn’t allow it’ is hilarious. They built the system… of course it’s possible. The bots mix and match armour coatings, cores and armour because it makes them unique.
343i have lied about a lot of things. Looking at the bigger picture, this is one of the smaller lies in comparison I think.
You know you f[yoink]ed up when the AI bots are treated better than the actual players.
This way you get the pleasure… Nay! The privilege, to buy the same colors an infinite amount of times.
