Team Doubles is Halo for me, its the playlist I’ve come to love, and the playlist I have spent most of my Halo series playtime in. I know I don’t stand alone when I say Team Doubles is one of the most loved playlist by the Halo community. A small two man team working together, watching each others back, coming together to defeat the other team. Team Doubles forces team work ans smart decision making, if you think you can just run out in the open a win you’re wrong, you need your teammate and you need their help as do they need yours.

So 343 I ask you this, When Team Doubles comes out on 2/4 (Which the Halo Community and I are very thankful for) can you please leave it in matchmaking, don’t take it out after one week, keep it in, keep one of the best playlists Halo as to offer. We will show you how much we love it!

Keep this post alive, 343 is watching and listening, they do care, we just need to show them what we care about! When the playlist comes out on 2/4 Play it, lets get the population so high that they have to keep it! Rally the troops, get your friends, and lets play some Doubles!

I’m no expert here but it seems logical to consolidate the playlists, make 8 firm gametypes, and leave a couple rotational playlist for party games such as grifball,fiesta, zombies…etc.
I don’t think you have to worry. It is a very popular and the most demanded playlist.
I’m sure that the population will be high enough that it’ll stay. Just like SWAT did.

I agree. the rotaional playlists should be the fun party types games.

Team Doubles playlist: A ROTATIONAL hopper for those of you that like action of the 2 vs 2 variety.
What the heck? Rotational? Did 343 not play Halo 2 or Halo 3? Jeez man they just need to add it permanently! There is no discussion about it.

To be honest, I’m not sure why they NEED to limit the playlists. It’s not about spreading the population too thin. When they took out Team Snipers, I don’t think all of those players went into Infinity Slayer or something. Frankly, some just stopped playing, and that can be seen with population values. Snipers is a unique experience that you won’t get by jumping into different playlist; I really think unique playlists should be permanent.
I support this! Doubles is such a solid playlist.

Considering 343declareed it as rotational, don’t you think your time would be better spent trying to convince the community to populate the playlist so it doesn’t drop off the playlist?

Agreed. I can understand why it wasnt put in until now. The only 2 maps it wouldve worked with are Haven and Abandon. Hopefully the new map pack has somthing good to offer. Without Team Doubles and a FFA playlist that isnt Regicide, H4 is barely holding my interest.
I have never even contemplated posting on this site, but I feel so strongly about this topic that I have to make my point. Doubles is the main reason why I love Halo. It has continually been my “go-to” playlist ever since I began playing Halo long ago. Without doubles, I will continue to boycott Halo 4. I love the game, but am simply too bored to play it without doubles. Therefore, please make it a permanent playlist, 343, or you will have forever lost a longtime fan.

they also announced SWAT as rotational, its sort of a joint effort by community and 343 to make it permanent.
Someone said our time would be better spent trying to convince the community to play dubs rather than plead to 343 to make it permanent. Anyone who thinks that obviously hasn’t been paying attention to other rotated hoppers. SWAT and Team Snipers were very popular and then were cycled out for Regicide. A much less popular gametype.
The obvious thing to do is consolidate all OBJ games into 1 playlist, consolidate the Dominon and BTB, then make Team Doubles, SWAT, and Snipers permanent.
