I’m enjoying the perks that come with each weapons and armor mod in Warzone. I’ve always been a huge fan of Halo’s even starts in Arena matches and love that they split the two types of multiplayer.
My request is to go even further in Warzone with this. Give the helmets and armor perks also. Make our choice is armor more than aesthetic. There’s so many choice and unless you have something Legendary, it can feel all the same.
The more I’ve embraced the randomness and unlevel playing field that Warzone can be, I want to see this go even further.
Maybe the Legendary and Mythic armor will see perks eventually?
Last request is to see where and how the current perks are actually helping.
Example: “This ONI issued Battle Rifle offers increased stability and ranged accuracy.”
Ok, but how do I compare that to another BR that has a similar description? Should I just assume the rare BR is better than the uncommon BR? Should I just test each one out for a few hours before deciding which suits me best? If so, how about a targeting range for testing purposes? (Maybe a Forger will do this)
Either way, I’d like to see more detail in how the perks help us for comparisons.
The problem I see with armours and helmets with individual perks like weapons, is that it would then be unfair at the start of every Warzone and Arena Match. I myself am Level 48 and I have a fair legendary and ultra rare armours and helmets.
So why should I get an immediate advantage?
Loadout weapons require the player to earn the required REQ rank to be able to spawn with it.
So would I have to then reak a required REQ rank in the match in order for my armour to then become available in the match?
Its a nice idea. But I think it would be far to complicated and unfair to implicate.
With the vast array or armours and helmets every player is supposed to feel unique. That they have THEIR own armour set.
My humble opinion
No, this is a terrible idea. The armor mods are enough. Choice of armor is always going to be an aesthetic.

Yep. Sorry but perks would be bad attached to armour.
There are way too many armor sets for this to happen.
If you would give armor and helmets perks then the Req system would really become a “pay to win” system, so no just no.
