I kept telling myself Halo 4 was a great game but honestly in my opinion its not at all. No matter how badly I want it to be and feel like I was back playing Halo 3 for the first time when I was 12. You guys admitted you made mistakes with this game and yeah your listening but why not just do things the community wants? You know people want permanent playlists Not the rotational hoppers. So why not just keep them? And a lot of people want a visible CSR in game so why not do it? Im tired of seeing people complain so just listen and make a fww Halo 3 femakes im tired im going to bed
Who says they aren’t listening?

First of all, after six years don’t you think that you’re going to feel a little differently about Halo? Stop trying to make yourself fit the mold of 2007 you. He’s dead, gone, and you’ve got to live now according to what’s best and possible for that version of you who’s still kicking.
IE. take Halo 4 for what it is, not how it compares to a memory.
Secondly, rotational playlists serve two functions: test and preservative. They sample the current XBL population to see how much interest there is in that particular entry into matchmaking. If it’s popular, 343 has pretty plainly stated that it will be added at some future point as a permanent playlist. It just has to prove itself first. Secondly for those that can’t it allows them to have some life as a viable (if infrequent) playlist that’s never around for quite long enough to become stale.
Let’s agree on these two things:
- Not everyone is going to be happy (can’t please everyone)
- Some of the requests are based upon personal preference and not the interest of all

This…^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
I’d like to gently point out that forum opinion is not necessarily representative of the opinion of the larger Halo 4 population - and that I would refrain from blasting 343 based on our limited perspective on their decision-making process.

Precisely. As I’ve said from day 1 (and Frank O’Connor hinted at the beginning of the year) the Halo fanbase is so large and diverse, everyone has their own viewpoint, which section should 343i listen to exactly? You change one thing to suit one group and you’ll upset another.
