Hot fix < simply developing a good game???
Makes sense.
Hot fix < simply developing a good game???
Makes sense.
You guys call, upping the xp a little a hot fix, wow easily pleased I guess.
So let me get this straight. The the stance that you’re going to take on Infinite is that "Infinite is not a good game. "
You’re really going to sit there and look at the total package of Halo Infinite and put that stake in the ground?..
Dumb in what way? Because I said something factual that 343 has officially stated multiple times and you cant think of a counter-argument? Dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.
Man you are so ungrateful, they are doing there best man and they are listening to us just give it time
They should have listened when we gave the feedback during the flights
What’s factual? That they’re prioritizing campaign over multiplayer? HELLO!! There are two separate teams working on either at all times. Just like near every other video game in existence. They can’t even churne out a proper campaign co-op, but you want to sit here and tell me that campaign is their priority? Makes so much sense, guy. You’re diluted. Hands down and simply don’t understand what you’re talking about.
Prioritizing campaign lmao! Right, that’s why they early launched their multiplayer, eh?
Hey, remember all those Bungie games that released with unfinished multiplayer and a pathetic lack of content? Me EITHER! Because they didn’t and everything you got in the box was finished and content rich. It’s indefensible. Just stop.
Progression wasnt really a complaint back then because they greased the progression system to speed up the leveling. It was also a really short pass. They saw it coming though, in october they released a statement.
And your point is?

“Give it time” is exactly how they grab more money on this terrible progression system. We did give it time. We gave it five years, and then an extra year to boot. But I guess you would’ve been happy buying the empty box they planned on selling us last year. You guys are a bunch of shills.
No ones making you buy the fu**king stuff anyways bro
They launched the multiplayer early so that they could get feedback before the game launch. As for Campaign co-op that isnt a simple ordeal with the way this campaign works. What happens if one player is freeing marines while another is doing the mission? What happens when one player takes a banshee out of the ring? Is valor shared or not? Who should the bosses prioritize or should their be two?
You’re either punch-drunk or you just completely forgot BOTH Destiny games.
I’m not talking about destiny. I’m talking halo. The development team behind destiny is a far cry from the people who originated this title. Also destiny falters because it too is made to cheat players out of an experience for the sake of money. So thank you for proving my point.
Also, all those campaign “Issues” are so easily resolved. Infact, I’ll double down on something you just said, but here, let me allign it with some actual logic. Destiny does campaign co-op and it works just fine. Yet here, it’s an issue? Which is also fine, if there’s truly a problem, but I was aware as asserted BY YOU that campaign and NOT multiplayer is their priority. Yet they released multiplayer early, but campaign can’t figure out how and where to spawn another player on co-op? Despite destiny (The apparent game we’re comparing this to) can? Yeah, you’re really making some solid points here. Yep, makes total sense. Smh.
Just stop.
Go and join the 343 team if you know how ‘easy’ it is to fix co-op.
Why don’t you since you’re the one with all the info??? Now who’s making lame replies because they can’t “Counter a point”. Get in the back of the line, Judas.
I have info because I actually pay attention and can clearly see that the backlash from Halo 5 was a wake-up call to 343i on campaign structure. They wouldnt have spent 3 of their 5/6 years making a brand new non-linear engine for Halo if it werent for criticism. That is why criticism is valid, but when people complain about them not listening to them after they have stated what their end goal is and that they hear us and all sorts of things like that and after making 4 hot-patches in two weeks, its ridiculous. This whole fandom is divided because some people want to play the game while others want to grind the game.
Grow up kid.
Thats different, in Destiny when you die you have a set time limit to respawn while also having a revival timer on your body thanks to your ghost. You respawn in a set checkpoint especially in some of the more linear levels. And I do agree with this next point that I’m going to put right here
It works well in Destiny because it isnt the first time its been done for them. Their style of gameplay is generally non-linear/open world, however all 343 has created so far in the halo series have been linear and scripted levels. This is a first for them, and I do agree its quite ridiculous how long it is taking. However they may deserve even the thinnest cut of slack possible since it is their first time.
Do you expect them to set up a whole performance-based XP system in a week? A week, by the way, where they’ve all been on break? They made a small patch to mitigate issues while the fix the bigger problem, which they said they would do, and they said will take time. They’re working on it; how is that not listening?
Good grief, you people will just complain about anything.
They could have listened during the flights and not had this problem at all.
Oh yeah, wholeheartedly agree with this. I think they also should’ve started doing flights and polling the community much sooner.
I disagree. What 343 has done to MCC thoughout the years shows to me that they’re capable of listening to fans. They fixed many bugs and glitches, restored Halo CE’s original xbox graphics, added in a custom game browser and a social matchmaking composer, and more. Even something like the emblems from Halo 5 were fixed because they used to use preset colors. So no, 343 does listen, however there’s an entirely different problem with Halo Infinite. I believe that with Halo Infinite, 343 has the issue of not showing what they’ve learned. You would think that after all the backlash and criticisms they got with Halo 4, 5, and mcc, that this would be the best Halo game ever, but that’s not the case and there are legitimate issues.
