Yes, you’re right, but some people still think we’re just arguing for no reason
I absolutely can’t and won’t support the behaviour of releasing products after play testing without iterating on feedback. You’re absolutely correct there.
But where you lack understanding is how industry pressures can have an impact on the development cycle of a product. Be it down to poor time management, unexpected complications, staff illness, any number of a reasons a product can experience a number of internal delays that lead to corners being cut further down the line.
In this topic you’re finding any topic you don’t like and throwing it at the wall to justify your statement. The entire community is well aware of each and every issue you’ve mentioned, and there are several threads on each.
How does it make any sense… so regardless of winning or losing, you all get the same XP:man_facepalming:t2:
You are totally right here, but everyone already knows this, and there’s been 10s of threads on it. If you think they’re going to fix it overnight you’re delusional. They won’t even make an announcement about it until they’re ready because it sets expectations.
Where I will offer an input, is where people sit on forums throwing their dummy out the pram because the developers haven’t released a statement as of yet to sate their specific want for information.
Because some people are unable to see the bigger issues that will arise from all of this.
The new amendment (refuse to call it a fix) will encourage toxic play.
People will come on and play/ afk 6 games just to get their level.
You need to reward peoples for in game achievements. Kills, spree, medals
I wouldn’t mind if the enemy team is afk for six games (which is impossible by the way because you have to actively search for new games…another “feature”). That way i can polish my battle record.
I think after your idea is implemented, too many players will hang up using macro commands to gain experience. I think if you can convert the medals in the game into experience, players will be more motivated to playthe game,
Additional rewards for medals is a great idea, but isn’t that basically what the challenges do?
It will divert your attention from just enjoying the game to going after a certain goal, just for the sake of gaining XP.
I think they mean something along the lines of when you get a double kill, triple kill etc, This is a great way to reward skilled play.
I’m worried that some players hang up to get experience, which will make normal players feel very bad when playing. Ordinary medals, such as assists, 2 combos and ordinary kills, have lower experience values, 5xp, 10xp and 15xp, while ninja, four combos and back knocks have higher experience values
Thank you for understanding me
OK, that does make sense. I’d love to see a more objective focused reward system, that does help the flow of the games.
“boohoo, 343i doesn’t cater to my demands 24/7 and stops working on holidays,
they’re such bad developers, how can they dare being humans and not machines
which can apply all of my wishes instantanously after I whined about them.”
This is what your post sounds like.
This game’s been out merely three weeks, pal.
Some changes you wish for simply can’t be made in a matter
of a few weeks.
Keep in mind, it took years for the MCC to become the pillar of classic Halo-gaming it is now.
Educate yourself on game development, maybe you’ll learn that big changes
require time, lots of time to get tested and implemented rightfully.
I’d happily wait another year for a real, thought out game.
Good idea

Summary
You don’t need to unlock everything right away Timmy. I’m not sure if you have ocd but perhaps you can get checked out just to be sure. Most of us are happy playing Halo because the gameplay feels clean, although many improvements still need to be made. You don’t need to unlock everything then play something else like Fortnite. The season is 180 days, you will reach rank 100 eventually little guy
You look like a clown when you are a dutiful son😄
And here with have it guys, our first online warrior joining the thread with insults and trying to belittle others for having an opinion…. Grow up!!!
Halo infinity itself is a high-quality game in this period. Under such slow response speed and wise operation, the game is a mess.
Changes take time my dude they can’t just flip a switch and magically have all these huge changes in the game that’s just not how it works also the new system is pretty damn good if you ask me only having to play 6 games to gain a level instead of 20 sounds great to me
We brought this to 343’s attention as soon as we saw this garbage system in the flight… They’ve had time and even chose to release the multiplayer early so…
Any fix we see is still yet another bs excuse to try and cover up the giant timegate/pay wall that is the progression system which has been designed to frustrate players into buying challenge swaps or even levels.
This latest fix is yet again another smoke and mirror act to try and distract players from the fact that no matter how well you play it will take you the same amount of games to progress as someone who has a rubber band on their controller playing the game for them.
Why we can’t simply also gain xp for winning matches and getting commendations is beyond me.
You said it all mate, I agree 100%
Lmao you can disagree with me but there are more important things that need to be fixed/changed than progression.
I never understood why you all want to unlock everything right away. So let’s say in a week you get to rank 100 in the battlepass, then what? Nothing else to unlock so why bother playing the game?
We used to play MCC back when there was no ranking system or anything to unlock. But I guess I don’t understand your zoomer mentality and the constant need to keep unlocking things. This is the definition of OCD my dude

Like what? Enlighten us.

We’re not saying we want to unlock everything in a week… We’re saying we want to actually unlock things via skill and not just by being forced to sit through games in modes we’re not interested in. How can you tell if a players actually earned that armor they’re wearing or just used mummy’s credit card to complete the battle pass on day 1… back in the day you could see a player and recognize they’d completed some crazy hard achievement or grinded a million hours saving up credits.

Yeah well back then we could just change the colour of our spartan and not have to sit through 50 -yoinking- games FOR BLUE!?
