Seriously, they don’t listen to us at all. “Listen to feedback from the players” ….what a load of crap!!!
The update sucks. Why are you limiting everyone for!!!
Give people XP for their performance and not just for just being in the game, win or lose it’s the same crap. It’s just rubbish!!!
Implement:
•XP for performance
•Spartan Rank separate from BP
•Optional Crossplay
•Let us unlock stuff from achievements and playing the game, not just money in your pockets!!! Looking cool should be about skill and hard work not credit cards.
This game has so much potential but you are ruining the experience.
You say you listen to feedback but you just do anything to sugar coat everything and get us to shut up for a while.
It’s been out for slightly more than two weeks. This is clearly just an iteration of the xp progression system. I’m sure updates will roll out further down the line.
Changes take time my dude they can’t just flip a switch and magically have all these huge changes in the game that’s just not how it works also the new system is pretty damn good if you ask me only having to play 6 games to gain a level instead of 20 sounds great to me
Progression during the flights was a lot faster. It seems like they miscalculated what the xp gains should look like. 343 has been pretty good through this whole dev cycle about responding to constructive feedback. I have no reason to believe that’s going to change now.
Also, you’re forgetting about weekly challenges on top of the dailies. As someone who works full time this plan works with me.
So they are not listening, but if they do, they just “sugar coat” everything?
I get what you are trying to say but try finding a common ground for change.
You change A to B and 50% of the players will be pissed.
Change B to A and it’s the other 50% that will be unhappy.
At least they are responding, albeit via twitter and you can see the changes already.
For those who say that 343/MS actually is trying to find a good balance;
It is obvious that they are trying to force as good as they can the players to spend money. Like how much can we press out of the people with this system? Okay, many are against it but will they spend now more money since we made it easier? Still not? Okay let’s find another way.
It’s clearly shown that they don’t want to find a way for us to get the very best out of a system, they want the most of our money.
it make sense that they want to make money, like which company doesn’t but the way they are insulting the entire Halo Community is a clear middle-finger towards every progression system and in general Halo-System in general.
I don’t see why anyone would be unhappy if they didn’t need to spend money to get faster forwards with the pass or even get rewards and challenges that unlock armor.
I think you should just take a step back for a few seconds and immerse yourself in the larger picture. They came back from holidays yesterday and announced another improvement today that goes in a step towards the right direction.
Anyone else who programs for a living on this forum will agree that you cannot just develop an entire system within a day, and even if you did it wouldn’t be anywhere near ready or optimised for general consumption.
They are clearly listening, they responded, now let them do their work whilst we keep providing useful feedback.
If you are just talking about the progression system, then you are correct.
But that system won’t fundamentally change and the sooner you realize that, you can write it off (einfach abhaken! )
Of course, I do realize that bad system but I don’t want others to, spend money into a machine that had taken the free costumization and gave us a money-grinding hell.
They had a chance to address this during the PC overview a few weeks ago but they purposefully neglected to
it makes me concerned that they’ve already made their mind up on this issue and won’t allow a crossplay toggle so they can force the cross-population to stay high.
MCC had a crossplay toggle, there is no excuse as to why Infinite can’t.
So you are telling me, that they thought that players would be totally happy to lost the freedom of costumization and in general the way how you do unlock stuff?
I don’t let it count that they can’t develop a system within a day [which is of course true, it’s hard to do it in 24 hours] but since they knew what they were don’ they deserve the critizism, the negative flaming and the productive critic.
Couldn’t agree more.
It’s not that big of a deal for me because i kinda don’t care about the cosmetics.
Until i see something very cool and i do…like the Yokai helmet. God that thing is so cool.
Anyway: The system totally blows and good on you for letting others know about this!
At no stage did I say anything of the sort? There’s nobody pretending that the current state of customization is acceptable. I’m telling you that the ‘low hanging fruit’ of concerns (the low amount XP awarded) is what they have released a statement on today.
Your post is titled ‘343 just doesn’t listen to us’ this is objectively false. Granted they haven’t released a statement on customisation yet, but that’s exactly the point, they’ve not said anything about it yet, meaning it’s still entirely likely to change.
If they had actually listened to what we went then the game wouldn’t have been released like this. They had all the time in the world to make these changes.
343 doesn’t listen- it’s as simple as that, they like to sugar coat things. They make it seem like they are doing something to keep you happy but not actually fixing the problem.
A temp crappy amendment like this doesn’t cut it.
How does it make any sense… so regardless of winning or losing, you all get the same XP:man_facepalming:t2:
