If you are seeing this, just do it. You guys are known to stick to your guns and believe in your decision choices. This is one that you should’ve stood by. The celebration animation did a compete 180. Just add a hint of personality to it at least plz. It was fine before to be honest, but now they just stare blankly into the sky. The Spartans do not have this Robotic stereotype personality. Even the littlest of things help your game and give appeal, as small as this is, you guys cared enough to actually change it.
I personally don’t think you should have listened so intently to a subject like this in the first place, out of all the things. Then again, I am still surprised at how much voice there was about the animation anyways, silly.

- Reach animations - Using the Stances as animations, so that you choose what action your Spartan will perform.

I agree. I wish they had a bunch of end game animations. And have like easter egg ones that are rare where the spartans start dancing. Just have fun with it!
I like the newer one. Simple and straight to the point. Although I wouldn’t mind seeing the hyped up animations returning for specific gametypes or something like the action sack playlist.
Its better now than it was before, the bro showdown stuff was a bit too much. I do think a little personality might be cool, but honestly at this point I think its fine as it is.

It doesn’t have to be like that, also I did say at least a hint of personality. Besides, with all the Armor out there, wouldn’t you want to see your Spartan doing a semi badass animation lol. Of course you’d think he already looks badass, but the animation would top it off, this one does nothing.
I mean, even the classic Chief waltzing up to the screen and holding his gun on the shoulder would do (in H3).

That’s exactly how I felt (well not too much for me, but up there). It went from hype Spartans to …huh what. Can I get a happy medium? I don’t need a Broski animation…
Spartans are first and foremost…Humans…Aaaand cocky -Yoink- super soldiers at that. Its been my experience that when your squad or group beats another team or does something awesome…You bro it out. Swears are said. Fists are bumped. And butts are slapped. I think they had it spot on the first time.

The new ones are quite boring to be honest. I didn’t like the dudebro animations, but I was expecting something along the lines of the Reach post-game animations.
You know; Salute, sling weapon over the shoulder, cross arms, etc. Cool, but not too extreme.

Initially I didn’t know what that was, until I called my friend Google. I don’t care what it is, as long as it isn’t cheesy. I’ll be fine with a few head nods, just show some swag. Doesn’t have to be very flamboyant. If anything, the original animation was entertaining, now it’s like eating stale bread.

Ahh I forgot about those, the Reach animations are perfect. My favorite was the Salute

I think they should implement it so that your chosen stance is represented in the win screen. That way it’s more representative of the individuals personality.
I mean, they might as well. I was against the animations on the basis that they were unnecessary and a waste of time (unless they were masking a loading screen), and while the lack of decorum is something I dislike about spartan 4s in general, either way I’m staring at 5 seconds of filler before and after the match.

This is a solid idea.
Also, I didn’t really have a problem with the original animations. I could easily see half of Fireteam Majestic engaging in similar celebratory behavior. They are young, amped up super-soldiers and are celebrating a win over their fellow SPARTAN-IVs in a competition. It makes complete sense. I seriously don’t get why it bugged people so much considering Halo 4 and 5’s lore approach to the multiplayer. Hell, if I was a SPARTAN-IV that just rocked a rival team in a simulation, I’d be delivering high fives and chest bumps all over the place. The way people reacted you’d think that the animations had SPARTANs performing tumbling passes and overly complex hand shakes after a win.
