This isn’t a rant. This is a completely valid complaint/suggestion.
CTF and Strongholds NEED to become their own playlist outside of Team Arena. It’s been 3 months and as fun as Team Arena is, I want to be able to choose CTF or Strongholds when I want to play them. If I want to play nothing but Capture The Flag all day, I should be able to. Tell me one reason why we shouldn’t be able to. Players have no control right now when they want to play an Objective mode. You are forcing players to wait and play game modes that they might not want to even play at all, just so they can have the chance at playing the 2 modes.
Don’t bother putting them up for a vote on Waypoint or anything like that. Just make them both playable in their own playlists. You know that it’s the right thing to do and we have no idea what you’re up to by not having done it already. It’s been too long. I don’t want to play Slayer anymore. I don’t want to play Breakout while looking for a match of Strongholds. Give the players what they want. Give us more freedom and options.
Whoever moved this thread away from the Halo 5 section, I hope you’ll reconsider it. This thread needs to be seen and kept alive and this section of the forums is where threads go to die.
I couldn’t agree further with everything said here. It does become frustrating having to wait 5 games or more just to play CTF and all you get is strongholds.
Agreed. CTF is an enduring part of Halo MP. Why then does one have to endure several games of Breakout, Strongholds and slayer just to get to one. Two of the game types in Team Arena already have their own playlists, such that if you want to play them, thats where you go. Sort Team Arena out! Replace with Team Objective and include oddball and King of the Hill. Seriously, what could possibly be the logic behind having the playlists structured such as they are?
Please 343 for the love of gaming either leave Team Arena as a mixed playlist and give us an objectives only playlist or remove Breakout and Slayer from Team Arena.
BREAKOUT AND SLAYER HAVE THEIR OWN DAMN PLAYLISTS WHEN I WANT TO PLAY THEM I WILL GO TO THOSE RESPECTIVE PLAYLISTS, BUT WHEN I WANT TO PLAY CAPTURE THE FLAG I AM SUBJECT TO SOME CRAP RNG THAT SO FAR HAS GIVEN ME ONLY 2 CAPTURE THE FLAG GAMES IN 11 TRIES!
I don’t think we will get KOTH back as strongholds is pretty close to the same thing, only you score every 3 seconds instead of every one second, and 3 hills instead of 1.
All my clan wants to play is CTF and objective but I’d put up with slayer and breakout staying in team arena if the breakdown was more like this:

Maybe repost this and change the title of it to something that is more direct. Because the title isent really letting people know what your talking about. Only a suggestion

I’m European, I am from Spain. Like many of you, I am angry about not being able to play and select servers in Europe. I’m sick of playing games with players USA, they are immortal. I encourage everyone in my situation to start a campaign both Halowaypoint, and Twitter. 343i and Microsoft need to listen to us, they notice the pressure.
Write tweets letting your anger. I wrote several tweets where I said “I’m European. I cant choose server in Europe. I have friends Who Do not playHalo 5 for esta reason”

The game is great. But there are games, which is very frustrating. Sometimes I kill 18 in a game and other games my opponents are immortal and they kill me very easily.
Can you please keep us updated 343i? Why haven’t we got any further news?
