In my honest opinion, Halo 4 was better than any Halo before and by the looks of it I think Halo 5 is going to be even better! The beta was amazing and I’m sure 343 won’t let us down!
I enjoyed the story in Halo 4 very much, however the multiplayer for me left something to be desired. So far, Halo 5 looks amazing in both respects.

I agree with what you said about Halo 5, but thats because for me, Halo 4 was a let down in comparison to the rest of the franchise. It wasnt bad game by itself, but when compared to Halo’s 1-3+ODST+Reach, it was meh. But it looks like you haven’t started playing Halo until MCC, so you weren’t around during the previous games. Maybe you’re slightly biased because the games were amazing during their original life spans and not so much in MCC, and H4 is one of the only ones that works the way it was intended as compared to its original release… But I cant be sure 
I really liked the story in Halo 4 for its approach to character development for the Chief. Unfortunately, the level design, multiplayer, and enemy AI were a step below some of the previous Halo games.

I think 343 tried to take this series in the direction it needs to go. Halo 4 was a big step too fast. Too much change too quickly for people to get use to it. Halo 5 stepped half a step back to introduce change. Halo 6 will be even better.
Id rather 343i have Halo in their hands than Bungie. Bungie will just take Halo 3 and copy n paste it
Wasn’t a fan of halo 4, 5 looks way better than 4 was. still kind of upset about split screen but i still preordered. and lets not forget the mess that was MCC. 343 is far from prefect but so is bungie. Not a huge fan of either tbh.

I get what you mean. I actually started playing halo when I was 6 and Combat Evolved came out. I ended up setting up a new xbox live account but I was never really into multiplayer until Halo 3. So I have been playing halo for a long time! But I’m not even exactly sure what made me like Halo 4 so much! It’s just my favorite for some reason haha
