Halo 5 wont’ allow us to play custom games with another person unless we want to maintain an xbox live gold membership…
Halo 5 won’t allow us to play campaign without an xbox live membership…
Halo 5 teasers are based around trying to interest an MLG community, one of the smallest percentages of Halo players…
Halo 5 won’t release with any BTB maps, or playlist for it…
Halo 5 wont’ let us play Warzone without doing it in matchmaking, aka without a gold membership…
Halo 5 has reduced our armor customization down to helmet, visor, armor, and colors, less customization than we have had since Halo 2.
Halo 5 is applying tiered weapons, promoting “play to win” via their micro transactions
343i has yet to really fix the Master Chief collection, too busy with Halo 5 to fix the games that came before it…
343 Industries wants to sell us this “Halo Game” for a full game’s price… a game that has removed, and trampled over all the games that have come before it, literally getting all the attention while it’s former games are swept under the rug where 343i hopes we forget it… Bungie once used the saying in Halo Reach “You don’t polish diamonds, you cut them…” Well 343 has cut the diamond alright, and they are risking hacking Halo into nothing if they don’t fix the mistakes they have made, and address the concerns above. I loved Halo 4 for it’s growth, and I love Halo 5’s 4v4, but a Halo game CAN’T survive on 4v4 for long.

Some of these are news to me. And you just seem like a hurt kid.
Gold to play campaign?
BTB gets released in a few weeks. So what if its not at launch. Why would you complain about that if you need gold anyway?
Good reason for warzone. its a huge game mode. How else could you play it?
OH NOES NOT ARMOR CUSTOMIZATION
FYI you get the req packs just by leveling up. And its not pay-to-win. You don’t need to use them nor do you need to play warzone.
They were still putting out patches for MCC but why should they work on that when H5 is right around the corner?
Entitled guy trying to explain why he is hurt.

I have preordered over $600 into this game… I’m entitled to be thinking I could find better uses for that amount of cash, it’s called being wise with your money.
Gold to play co-op.
BTB maps wont’ even be added until it’s in the DLC. It’s a big F*** You to BTB fans like myself.
As a version of Firefight for those of us who wanted 343 to listen to it’s fans.
I’m just stating all the ways the game is losing points in my book.
True… but just because you can beat me with your magnum while I’m using a rocket launcher doesn’t mean you won’t have a harder time (exaggeration to prove my point).
Question is: If they are fine with leaving one of their games in such poor condition for over a year, what can we expect for Halo 5?

-The competitive community were some of the people let down the most by H4, so they want to push the fact that they are definitely trying to mend the wounds they created in the competitive community. And they have said multiple times that we will get to see forge pre-launch. So be patient. And they’ve shown plenty of Campaign related content as well.
-A BTB playlist will be available post-launch. 100% free of course. As long as they don’t take too long to add it in I don’t see it as a huge issue.
-Warzone uses a lot of AI, and I suppose that makes it a little too complex to make it easily available for customs.
- People who have lots of high tier weaponry, which that weapon tier system is exclusive to warzone btw, will have a high chance of being paired with other people who also have lots of high tier weapons and high rarity cards. H5 is no where near Pay to win. Walk out with that fancy gun you just bought in a REQ pack, get sniped and there goes your money. It almost seems smarter not too spend too much money on REQ packs.
- The customization limitation ,as they explained it, allows them to be more creative with each armor set. As they armor design is likely limited by having to make every armor piece compatible with every other piece from every other set. Perhaps not the best decision in the world. But not as outright absurd as you might think.

You already put $600 down on a game you aren’t happy with so far? Why would you do that?

Love your replies, and while you do have a lot of valid points, I do feel concerned for the game’s longevity unless they apply things to the game for casual players.

I love the console, and want to support a series I love. With that said, it’s hard for me to question not pulling out of the preorders. As a long time Halo fan, I have a right to complain like anyone else when I see a game I love making decisions I believe are bad for it in the long run (and my complaints are meant to convey potential threats to the games longevity of a community, not just of myself.)

600 bucks into the game and crying about wanting to be more wise with your money.
You don’t seem to grasp that the DLC is free and that BTB will be added a “few” weeks after launch. Its hardly an F you.
It losing points in YOUR books.
If you feel so poorly about it get your money back. Jesus. MCC is old news to me at this point.

Just because you feel its a threat does not mean that it is. You have yet to list why 343i is ripping anyone off. All you have done is spout some incorrect information or information that is pretty old.

name one piece of info I have mentioned that is incorrect. As for how they are ripping us off, is that in terms of video games, the amount of content promised here is very limited compared to most Halo games.

Well lets see. The BTB info comes off as a big one. Also the Gold being required to play single player. Maybe I missed it but that would be news to me.
Also the fact that they are saying that this campaign is going to be bigger than the others kinda leads towards this game being…Bigger than the others. Warzone is a huge plus. It will lack armor customization. Buuuuut…Thats one thing. Firefight came around with ODST so it not being in here isn’t that big. Yeah it kinda sucks since that was an Ok gamemode but it was one of the least played modes. Other than that…What is this game lacking? How are we being limited?

Ah, now that was a mistake on my end, I should have said you won’t be able to do co op Without gold membership. That was my bad.
Warzone isn’t a huge plus to me… It’s something that is interesting… but it’s nothing I plan on playing long at all.
I’m one of those people who LOVED Firefight. I love game modes that aren’t scripted (like campaign missions always are), and that don’t require a good internet connection, as mine can be either amazing, or a Walmart connection, depending upon the time of day, so when a Halo game, a game that has always given almost all the game’s options to be played WITHOUT an xbox membership effectively demands an online connection for EVERYTHING is sad to me.
