Knowing they didn’t even add the basics, that is all anyone needs to know there is something majorly wrong within the company.
The game is literally a disaster in terms of designing a game.

Bro I went to go play Ghost Recon Breakpoint and was like wow the graphics on this Open World Map are way better than Halo Infinites.
Maybe 343 should have outsourced Ubisoft to build the open world and graphics.
Have you had that Teammate who is just blasting has his TV volume up but you can’t just simply go to the score lard select that Teamate and mute just that one guy… freaking COD warzone has that and 343 missed that.
I really want to not trash them. It they are being severely out performed by other developers like people make fun of COD and Fortnite but they are currently performing way better than 343.
They really need to get those heads out their butts and try and have a little pride and soul in themselves to get this game to at least top 3.

Unfortunately, this isn’t exactly uncommon from AAA gaming companies these days. I mean, is this really worse than Bethesda or Obsidian releases? I’ve said it several times over the past several years. The internet has made gaming companies lazy. They don’t have to release complete products anymore, because they can just patch/update it later!

I understand what you’re saying, but this is one of the worst releases I’ve seen in the last 10 years, there isn’t any game I’ve played that released as barebone as Infinite is.
Because how poorly gaming companies are handling games these days, I never pre-order, have high expectations, and above all, never take their word for it. It’s a companies actions that shows the truth, and boy did 343 screw things up real bad.

I think the original game was worse off than we know and this is a duct tapped together effort they were able to get together in a year. That’s why so much basic stuff is missing. Just my opinion but I cannot think of another reason to be missing so many basic features

So far with the individual items we’ve had a helmet for 700, a shoulder set for 200, and an armor coating for 600. Given you can unlock way more armor coatings for free than you can armor pieces, I’d rather the armor coating be ridiculously priced than the armor pieces.
They had 3 years. Stop dunking on 343 just to dunk.

How about the fact they’ve expressed multiple times that they’re receiving our feedback and are working on solutions to our problems?

I’ll initially say, I do agree with a lot of these frustrations.
However many of them are not facts, they are in fact opinions. Also they appear passive aggressive with the whole:
“if you think otherwise you’re wrong”
“If you like the current art style you’re a fanboy”
The truth of the matter is that the art style in Halo Infinite simulates the Halo 3 plastic art style because MOST and yeah maybe fanboys too; requested as a majority of the fan base that the halo 5 art style didn’t truly emulate “halo”
It still may be an opinion. But the fact is the majority of returning fans wanted the game to look pretty much exactly as it does.
In some places it really does look like Xbox 360 graphics even on a good Graphics card on PC

The damaged portions of the ring have no detail in the damage from your view on the ring

The Ring terrain looks worse than the Halo ring skybox from Reach which actually looked amazing

The environment like rocks, hex pillars, foliage, lighting and detail is lacking when you view the environment from a distance

Brute Faces still look like Craig sometimes

The clouds look low Rez at times

The Ring from space looks great but once you’re on the ring the damaged portions don’t match up and aren’t the same

Indoor areas look amazing, Outdoor areas are very hit or miss, with pop-in, poor draw distance, lack of volumetric fog across landscape, and no proper atmospheric effects across the ring gap which should have a lot of thick clouds, a Blue glow, as seen in the concept art of the main environments.

Rock textures lack proper color variety and differences in rock type as the rock faces often look like quarry rock and broken concrete more than natural rocks of different geological composition and variety in Hues.
Game looks great in some places, horrible in others.
Looks good close up mostly, but far away it’s really iffy esp compared to other games that show landscapes from afar like 2015’s Witcher

I agree. The game feels like a mixed bag of almost awesome to downright horrible. So many plot twists.
I honestly think they rebooted and changed alot once Joe Staten came on board. …
Until he jumped in the Brute propaganda towers weren’t even gonna have dialogue…just wow.
He pretty much salvaged the game
