> First off, why are we playing as super heroes now? Back in Halo 1-3 we were super SOLDIERS. In Reach we were granted to ability to be invincible and fly around (lol Iron Man) and now in Halo 4 we have a riot shield (lol CoD) and the ability to see through walls (lol Superman)

Custom game options are nearly inexistent and force you to go back to Halo 2 to find a Halo game with such few options. Fileshare just got working after 3 months (too bad the game has 82% less people on it now than back then so less content being created). Forge has great new tools but don’t always work right and hinders some things people were able to do in the past.

Im glad they took some loadout ideas from Call of Duty. Its not like they own the right to use loadouts only and all of everything that you listed as well. Nice list though, you’ve organized issues (not really an issue) into a list better than i probally can write. One who complains of new features, COD look-alikes, and for lack of better words @#$% that people make up just to make a game look up. It could be done to any game.
You are tieing too many game elements halo has to Call of Duty like as if they owned the right to have the secondary as a shotgun… Did you forget almost every other multiplayer game out there? Gears of War… shotgun in your loadout. Battlefield serise… shotgun in your loadout. I guess they are copying Call of Duty. I love how you linked the hardlight shield to Call of Duty that made me laugh. Its amazing how someone who dislikes a game can create this list to satisfy their disatisfaction or rage. I mean really… EMBLEM UNLOCKS?! Your complaining about that. I forgot that Call of Duty invented almost everything. Its just standard in game adds that makes the game appear like it has more substance. ITS STILL HALO. They are trying to appeal to a wider audience for profit but still keep things to satisfy the fans.
A game company would be wise to associate what seems to be popular in their own games and in THEIR OWN WAY. They are not the problem. All the features that they decided to include does not break the foundation of halo, it only spices things up to feel new and fresh. They did a phenomenal job at keeping true to their word and deserve a better prestige than what others in the community continue to say. (Oh im sorry i used prestige, should i feel bad because im not original? Ill just say “praise” Now im a good game. :D)
If you didnt want them to change anything and dont like the small tweaks they made to gameplay, why not play Halo 3? Thats what my friend is doing because he see’s nothing wrong with it and doesnt like the new get-up.
Give 343i the respect they deserve for taking this task of taking on the role of the legendary halo creators and doing things right. They made the game their own and kept true to what its all about. CONGRATULATIONS 343i, and keep up the good work.
(I will agree that Thearter and Custom Games didnt feel full… tsk tsk tsk. For whatever reason it didnt come out so fleshed as Halo 3. And wheres ASSAULT?! lol cmonn i love that. Oh well. If they release it later that be great. But if they try to include it in Halo 5 as “a new thing” then things will get messy… Still hoping for the best.)
SUPPORT HALO 4. Its not dieing, only diversifying.
