343 Is Not Reading This ;/

I don’t think 343 comes on here daily to check the forums. Maybe they skim them but no forum is ever reply’d by 343 or 343 never gives us feedback.
See, if they actually came here and talked with us all, these new games would be Halo. I think they should really have them talk and chat to us, listen to the community!!!
Im not talking about that you have to have 100 subs on youtube to get noticed.

Here tons of fans share many great ideas, i know ive seen many over these years and i’ve shared my own, but they are just gone and never seen or noticed again…

these forums are full of hateful people, state your ideas on twitter or reddit, 343 is much more active there, especially on a daily basis

Yeah I can agree with twitter, but Reddit? cmon this is the damn HALO WEBSITE.

whats your point? Have you read some of the posts here? dont get me wrong some are well thought out and extremely well put but it seems most are just ranting/raging. Reddit surprisingly is much less of that though it does still happen

If they don’t like it, they shouldn’t have created the beast.
They’ve made the bed…

A lot of game companies I find tend to interact more elsewhere than on their official forums. They announce things and do some lore fun, but generally stay out of debates.

Why? Largely because other places are more neutral. Here a 343 employee has the admin team on his side, and even if the other poster is being outright rude, any attempt to mod them would be seen a ‘silencing dissenting opinions’. Here any official post is likely to cause a thread to get pounced on expecting answers.

Yes. Have you seen some of the posts on Reddit, Beyond and NeoGAF? Those websites have much less rules and regulations, with profanity being a common sight. This website was created specifically for feedback on the franchise; seems counter intuitive to engage with the community everywhere but here.

I agree. I have seen only one reply from a developer on the forums. While there are tons of good suggestions, there is also alot of noise.

While rare, I’m more than certain that I have seen 343i interactions here. Not just the usual mods.

lol the only thing i see from i guess the people that run this show are Monitors that usually lock forums or say “ive come to basically be an a hole”

This outlook is probably the single worst reason for 343i to avoid waypoint.

Not only is it false, but it will have a negative impact on the future of Halo

Exactly. Waypoint has outstanding moderators who do a great job at keeping it a friendly & civil halo related forum.

I’m tired of seeing people create reasons/excuses as to why 343i is not active with responding to members on waypoint.

Me too, there was a thread like this one and everyone went crazy when 343 was like “hi”

Bungie was always better at engaging with Halo fans.

I wish 343 would respond more often, I was in need of support 3 months ago and they’re still holding my money. Not a single response despite it being a huge issue for me.

It’s because the people on Reddit actually post issues in a reasonable manner. Show video evidence of said issue. And even come up with possible solutions to said issues. They don’t get all salty in their 1st sentence and go on a 30 minutes type fest rant on why they think 343I is the worst company is history, which it is not.

From my time browsing all these media outlits. It seems like a good 85% of the Halo community avoids Halong waypoint like the plegue. For halo waypoint is the Mos Eisley of the Halo Community. A wretched hive of scum and villainy
