343i will not nerf the dmr sadly. They fanboy it way to much. They all love it so why would they nerf it. Just go look at there cqc based map pack reccomended loadouts. DMR, DMR, and you guessed it another DMR.
I dont know why I was supprised that a DMR nerf was not on the TU change list.

The DMR will come to pass young one.The gods demand it.
They need to nerf the DMR in one way or another, or else the population will continue to fall. I can name several people who have stopped playing Halo 4 due to the DMR being the way it is, and I’m sure there are many many more.
The DMR is an utterly dull weapon to use in matchmaking, since it’s way too powerful. The BR, Carbine and Light Rifle are much more fun and rewarding to use.

I belive that ee just they got the message there just going to take there time denlivering a response in the form of a TU especailly with testing and all of that ( you wouidlnt want the weapon to be completly useless even if you did still et your nerf).
They are not going to nerf it, 90% of the population uses it so they do not want to lose that 90%

The only time im forced to use its when im out of ammo and its the only weapon available
Well they did say that there’s more weapon balancing to be done in the next TU. So that tells me that at least ONE gun will be nerfed or buffed. I mean they got to do SOMETHING.

Because this TU was mainly for fixing bugs and glitches. The next TU is about sandbox rebalancing. It IMO doesn’t need a nerf. Its supposed to be a utility weapon. Its like training wheels. Every other weapon has a niche role and with good player skill applied it would obviously beat the DMR in that range. As a good example because of my player skill i am able to beat the DMR with my BR in medium and short range almost all the time.

DMR is perfect as is and needs not to be changed.
What crack are you guys smoking… either you suck so badly to rage a thread on the forums over it, or either ppl like me dominate and counter the weapon fine with other ingame utilities.
So in small words you’re all crying about something not worth a problem. Instead you’re shedding tears about someone bettering you in a 1v1 duel. Sad.
The problem isn’t with the DMR, the problem is with the BR. If it was never included in the game, then there wouldn’t be any non-sense hate threads for the DMR. It’s obvious 343 wanted the DMR to be the best gun. Just get over it already. The BR in Halo 3 was more powerful than the DMR in Halo 4, but you don’t have any complaining about that. Just ridiculous, people who have so much time on their hands, and all they do is complain with that time.
I’ve got horrible aim but whenever I play I take a DMR - it helps me alot and makes me look like a badass.

The DMR helps everyone a lot cause they are crutches for those who are scared to get out-strafed by people with BR’s close range, so they use long range weapons to avoid that situation. And instead of looking like a badass, become one by fighting mid range and getting better at it.

ofc I know what I’m talking about. And BR vs DMR is just the same but difference is
[DMR=Accurate shots].
Don’t challenge a 1v1 with another guy with a rocket launcher, ofc you will probably die. A Challenge with DMR and BR in a match is just as fair, even though both weapons are distinct and between medium and long range purposes.
If you actually ever fought against someone with these weapons in the same circumstance or otherwise, you find that it was your own mistake dying.
Bring the DMR into Regicide and you’re wasting your time.
BR / AR and SPR rule in that playlist… Unless you’re on complex that is.
Big map = DMR
Smaller maps it isnt so good, I fail to see why players hating the DMR cant understand this concept. Once you get the hang of other weapons like the AR and the BR they destroy.

I don’t know what your talking about but me and almost all my friends have an easy time against it, maybe people should try to use other guns and don’t get so mad if they get killed by another gun.
