If 343 designed their own game, no one would care and no one would buy it. I play halo 5 because its halo, obviously, and i love halo. So i say 343 is lucky they took over this amazing franchise or otherwise their game, whatever it would’ve been, would be a COMPLETE failure.
I am making this post because i really care about Halo. what it was, what it is, and what it will become in future halo games. Halo is dying and i dont want it too
Some fixes they need to implement into the game witch i’m sure its been told, many times over. i would just like to reiterate the words to 343s deaf ears. (some are not fixes, just complaints. I would also like to say i’m entitled to my own opinion.)
Campaign
-Why wasn’t score attack in the game upon release?
-Why am i playing as Spartan Lock? who is this guy? I don’t care about this guy… i want to play as Spartan John. please and thank you
-Since when was Cortana evil? she never showed signs of… evilness before.
Warzone firefight
-What is this? fake difficulty? Of bullet sponges
-Why are bosses against the soft killzone? So we have to shoot their armor and not their weakspot. we are forced to do this.
-Why does one or two fuel rod blasts from an elite banshee destroy my wraith?
-Why cant I decide my spawn point?
-Why does the round actually start like 10 or 15 seconds after the 5 min timer started.
-Why are the turrents and gunners on the phantoms invulnerable with pinpoint aim? they never miss… who makes these decisions?
-Can you tell us what we are facing next round during the intermission? and Where? Please.
-Isnt that what the beta was for?
Arena
18 meter radars, the only people that care about HCS are people that play in it. why are we forced to play their settings? the way halo was evolved with sprint and what not, I think 25 meters and slightly bigger arena maps would be a good idea.
Why am i playing Slayer in Team Arena when there’s already a Slayer playlist?
Warzone
I wish i had an Answer in real life, so i could go to 343s studio with it

-But seriously, who decided it would be a great idea to spawn trap the other team AND BE REWARDED FOR IT!? something that could put a slow stop to the farming… is give the winning team a bigger EXP reward with some extra RP. Because why not? the faster they destroy the core the bigger the reward.
-Maybe force parties of 10 and 12 or so to play against other parties of 10 and 12.
-Whats up with no sound at the intro of most games?
REQ System
-It doesn’t fail as often as it used too, but it still fails while in a game, and Im forced to use my AR and magnum the whole game.
-Something that never fails though, is when I open Halo 5, i have to restart the app. Never fails. Because Halo 5 is confused about what to do when i open it at first. The REQ system always has an error. Every single day.
-Pretty sure since the first day of Halo 5, someone mentioned there should be an option to sell more than one REQs at a time. and someone in 343 tweeted that they’re working on it… What month is it now?
-In the menus, I would like to customize the way my REQ menu looks in the game. For example, put the armor mods and loadout weapons i use the most in front so I dont have to scroll through 50 BRS to get the one i want. or maybe bookmark them in some sort of way. OR maybe, for example, in the menus i can setup wha my load out will be when I reach 3 REQs, 4 REQs, 5 REQs, and so on. all the way to 8. Obviously not a big deal, but it would be pretty freakin cool.
-Buying, picking and choosing the armor I want like in Halo Reach was fantastic. Even had shoulders.
Playlists
-Why wasn’t all these core halo playlist put into the game at launch?
Doubles, Griffball, Infection, BTB, Shotty Snipes, Team Objective. Head to Head, Oddball. Social playlists that have no hidden rank. I know I may have missed a couple…
-Who cares about the population of each playlist? if there are only 1000 people that consistently play a playlist, LET THEM. 343 is giving them a reason to not play halo.

Ranking system
-If I’m a platinum 2, I want to play with other platinum 1, 2, 3, and 4s, maybe 5s and what, not Onyx.
I’m pretty sure it chooses your rank after the 10 qualifying matches at random. When I do great with a good win loss ratio i get put into platinum. and when I perform terribly I get into high Platinum or even Diamond.
But besides that, I would MUCH MUCH MUCH rather have the old trueskill system back. I was never so dedicated to a video game. I Never tried stopped getting my 50 (48 for life)

… Did ya’ll forget? I don’t really know what why it wasn’t implemented but I have hopes it was for a good reason.
Some of the greatest Halo memories was with friends on the couch beating them 100 times in the back in the elevator, with 100 spartan corpses on the floor.
-And what better way to spread the game but with splitscreen?
Daily, Weekly, Monthly challenges
Mix up the rewards, mix up the challenges, this would encourage player to play more often. and give other to work towards something.
I know for a fact I missed some things i wanted to mention, but I forget. Help me by commenting what you think, reiterate things you agree with or even disagree. And the things I forget, I felt like I could’ve gone on and on about arena. Or give reason, maybe I misunderstood something.
