I’m tired of mediocrity, too.
But people are getting so angry they’ll blindly attack anyone in disagreement with them.
That’s what we call toxicity. That shouldn’t be encouraged but it is. Point being, let’s hear people out and not just blindly attack them.

True,
But for those defending 343, what are they defending?
5 years of development, and then delayed a year.
- still not ready for release.
So many promises to list that were eventually broken
Really REALLY poor communication
Out of touch pricing model to the point they had to go and hire someone else to create another one.
And the list goes on. You get my point.
Anywho, I do feel bad for a developer working for 343, I do. But I will give no quarter in my critic and judgement of the company and every single employee of said company because the product and behaviour that we have before us is a collaborative effort of 343 as a whole as well as anyone who blindly defends such a piss poor effort as acceptable.
Chorus:
You’re out of touch
I’m out of time
But I’m out of my head
When you’re not around
You’re out of touch
I’m out of time
But I’m out of my head
When you’re not around

Oh by defending 343 I don’t mean blind defense.
I mean things like advocating for less toxicity.
Right now this forum is quickly going down the drain. Calling 343 incompetent, advocating for Halo to be sold to a new dev, just the general unhelpful stuff.

Armor core restrictions have been complained about since the tech test… what has 343i done? 2 more cores for season 2!
Seriously… I’d rather have nothing than more stuff nobody asked for.
Can early adopters just get a purchasable pass that unlocks everything automatically when the game is actually complete? I honestly have no desire to play this absolute dumpster fire any longer, but feel compelled to because of event/shop FOMO.
Let me just pretend like Infinite won’t be releasing for another year.
But they are incompetent, it needs to be given to someone that cares about Halo and can release a content full not broken game at launch. Comments like these can be censored all they want but it is OBJECTIVLEY true with 343. They haven’t launched a content complete game in a whole decade with Halo, its a joke.
I don’t get how the truth is “toxic” just cause you don’t like to hear it, does not make it “toxic”.
I hear the truth loud and clear. Everytime I load up Halo Infinite, I can see how barebones it is. That doesn’t mean I need to belittle the devs. Just let them know that you’re not happy with the direction.
You don’t need to add all the extra stuff. That shreds morale and slows down development.
Burn out is real thing. You want them to make a good game? Don’t be toxic. Toxicity hasn’t really worked out the games issues. If anything it exacerbates it.
It might appear that way but that only because 343 had something to share at that particular point and time.
I mean look at me. I was being toxic a week ago and got a 7 day ban.
“Toxic” is thrown at any form of criticism, calling them incompetent is just stating the obvious, they’ve had plenty of time to fix and update this game and bring new content, 2 maps isn’t anything. They clearly aren’t listening to anything anyways, just like they did on past titles. It’s dumb we have to fight devs for just bare minimum. Also boo hoo, maybe if they did their jobs they wouldn’t be dealing with tons of backlash for lack of well everything, I’m tired of the excuses and blaming the consumer from CMs and Devs.
Okay take a deep breath. Nobody is blaming you.
I just ask that this community not be as toxic as it currently is.
Not saying all criticism is toxic. I’m saying going out of your way to insult them is.
You’re firs part doesn’t matter. They had 6yrs to get their stuff together m. This game is unacceptable in its current state. I hope they’re working their butts off because if they weren’t and we are in this state then we’d be mega screwed lol.
Idk You can’t just be ok or be understanding when they had so much time. Double the amount of time of a normal halo game and has a 3rd of the launch expectations. Barely any content that is supposed to be there day one
Yeah it’s “beautiful, but broken. Very broken.”
I mean I wanted the game to do well, for all that I was annoyed by some of the story decisions and retconning. I think the fans were extraordinarily patient and positive when the game came out. It’s on 343 that it didn’t work out. As you say, six years and you can’t get Co-Op to work. So yeah, I am kind of disappointed with how these first months of multiplayer have been.
I’m not defending bad leadership. I’ve said elsewhere that it sounds like they’ve got management issues.
Dude, your insipid trolling is not helping the game.
