Seriously.
Before you say I am trolling blah blah blah. I butchered through the MCC without as much as one complaint. Accepting the daunting task and almost realistic results.
However, this is just absurd at this point. Halo 5, for me, is simply not functional. I know everyone gets sick of the “I have this download speed etc”. Saying that, I have extremely reliable internet service.
My nat type is open. Every. Single. Other. Game. Functions with perfection with literally no lag.
Why on earth does this game not work for me? I have seconds where it works and then just a complete lag party where enemies walk into walls.
The he most frustrating thing is a game that makes as much money as this and we have absolutely zero recourse. I am playing a Microsoft game, on a Microsoft console, through a paid Microsoft online service.
Microsoft ft doesn’t care that we have 4 surfaces, 2 Xbox ones, 2 360s, 5 windows phones, etc.
What a damn disappointment. And again. Absolutely no recourse and no where for loyal customers such as myself to turn to.
You can be like me and just flat out quit.
The 5th multiplayer game i played I knew something just wasnt right.
So i continued to play over 400 matches until I just gave up.
I hate when people take their own personal experience and then apply it generally as if it’s happening to everyone. It’s not that 343i can’t make a functional game, it’s that your experience has Halo 5 not functioning. So it’s not on 343i’s end, it’s on your end because my version and millions of others are perfectly fine. Why not post “Hey I need help here, where do I go?” and then post your issue and ask for help.

Don’t know what to say multi player is flawless for me even with European player’s in matches. I live in Seattle area though. … hope this is cleared up soon for those experiencing problem’s

Wow, I just read your post and I made a small review in IG and my Halo 5 experience has gone flawless. Even with the promo codes for REQ packs from hunt the truth, Master Chief contoller and the McFarlane Toys. All has worked as intened and Im sorry you are going through that. Ask for help to trouble shoot.
Well. I envy you that are having no issues as this has been heartbreaking. I really hope to just bring awareness as something isn’t right.
I am am sometimes one of this “it’s on your end” type of guys but I assure you it’s not.

Non-US players are not able to play Warzone. this topic has over 1000 replies, it’s a major problem. And what has 343i done? It’s been 16 days and no solution has been presented. Every other game works fine: BF4, BOP 3, Destiny, Titanfall, Metal Gear Online, GTA Online, etc. No updates and no explanations are given, it’s like it’s not even a issue. So I have to agree with the OP. Why on earth Microsoft choose these guys to make Halo it’s beyond me, after the MP fiasco that was MCC.

EDIT: Also agree with that the OP said about costumer support. There’s no email, phone number or any direct means to contact support. Just this forum. I even dare to go as far as to say that EA has a better costumer service than 343i. It’s a shame.

To be fair this is a real issue affecting numerous people. There is a thread on here at least 16 pages long and other threads on multiple websites regarding this issue. I am currently having issues as well and it seems to be a server issue considering all of my other games besides halo run flawlessly on live. Hopefully 343 will correct this soon. Currently 343 is not publicly discussing this issue and are not keeping the community up to date which is a issue.

After talking to an Xbox support rep its a software issue on 343’ s side. It has nothing to do with hardware. The rep is even giving me a refund for my digital copy of the game if the issue is not fixed by next week.

There are literally hundreds of people in that thread alone complaining about it. BTW, all other games work fine on my connection (Titanfall, etc), only Halo 5 is bad.
I was willing to give 343 the benefit of the doubt when it comes to Halo, because the fanboys complain too much. Now I just don’t care anymore. They killed Halo, that’s true.
