One of the key reasons for Halo 5’s population decline is 343’s incompetence at maintaining the game in the crucial first month after its release.
An entire month after launch and there has been very few bug fixes, balancing/tweaks, UI improvements. A great deal of players have taken to the forums to express issues and suggestions. However, 343 is doing a really poor job of responding and maintaining good communication with the player base. It seems that they care more for Twitter or Reddit, rather than their own official forums. Even when they do announce an update, the patch notes are vague and the release date is non-existent. “In under a month,” is unacceptable! Tell us exactly when and exactly what is in these updates! 343 needs to maintain better contact with us players!
343 also needs to focus on bug fixing and improvements to the core game, rather than focusing on more useless skins and emblems! If a fix is ready, send it out ASAP! Why wait for the next content update that’s in a month!??
Listen to the players! Fix all existing issues first, before making things nobody asked for! Don’t waste time on re-skins of vehicles that performs exactly as other variants, or ugly armour(Tracer) or emblems. If you’re going to make content, make new ones. Or even better, add guns or vehicles(Falcon!) from past Halos!
Bro didnt you see your new Woodland Camo Warthogs?! Obviously these are more important than fixing the broken aiming and metric ton of gameplay issues.

ever heard of December update and secondly about all of your so called people who complained 90 percent was people -Yoinking!- and whine how they will leave and the 10 percent could never be heard
I think it is important to note that different parts of their team work on different things. So when we get new Reqs. We cannot assume they are saying Reqs are more important. The team who works on new skins and armor isn’t going to stop because the other team working on ranks or forge or deadzone fixes isn’t done with their stuff yet.
The only bugs I’m aware of were the ones that affected the campaign and theater saves after they updated the game with BTB. They fixed those in a matter of days.
I’m not saying there aren’t any bugs, I’m just saying that those were the only ones I’m aware of. I would like to see the post game stats updated so I can view medals and stats for which players did what.
