I donât even like blaming 343i at this point, because theyâve been screwing up since 2012, it is MS (ultimately) that is responsible for this mess.
I donât know if its culture, if its the system, or whatever it is but it is clear that there are issues behind the scenes, like you bring up these things but it is clear that Infinite released with a very small fraction of what it should have⌠They had 6 years and couldnât pull it off smh. I donât want to pretend this is the first time 343i has burned fans, theyâve been doing it for 10 years⌠So they are living up to their usual disappointing standards.
My point is that Microsoft shouldâve been alarmed by this a very very long time ago. Although I believe that firing 343i and just moving on after all these years is probably far fetched, I think they need to hire another studio sort of like how Activision does with CoD. Instead of us having to wait 5 or 6 years theyâd be able to come out with stuff more frequently and weâd be able to choose between 343iâs Halo and another companyâs Halo.

Obviously you wonât see anything substantial transpiring until months/years later.
CoD devs are obviously just going to continue working on CoD.

The twitter response from 343 about the failed hotfix for BTB just really let me down. There was no passion in the twitter post or any feeling that they cared that it didnât work. It was a massive disappointment.
It may as well have read âOh well, that didnât work I guess we will try again laterâ
BTB was said to be a priority and if they canât even get the number 1 issue resolved then it makes me question 343âs ability to fix absolutely ANYTHING else.
De-synch, region filter and such seem like 6 months + away from being fixed, I strongly doubt that the population is going to survive that long.
343 absolutely CAN NOT allow Infinite to take as long as MCC.
They donât have 6 years to fix this game!
Everyone will leave LONG before then.

But Iâm definitely dreading when Iâm searching for a match that i have to wait more than 5-10 minutes and not finding anyone to play withâŚ

It absolutely wont, thatâs for sure. Not in the F2P model. At least with previous releases they got paid up front. People would stick around longer as they had paid for it.
New users to the franchise can move on without a care in the world, they have lost nothing. It will be simply forgotten by the player base it intended to attract. Infinite wasnât aimed at the loyal fanbase it has cultivated over 20 years, it was aimed at the instant gratification generation.
There has to be some one at MSGS sweating over the fact that after 6 years in development and a rumoured half a billion dollars in costs its lost its target audience in 3 months. They have to be coming to the realisation now that the investment they have put in is lost.

During the entire development cycle for years that I followed here on waypoint and on 343âs socials that âHalo infinite is for returning veteran players and those new to Haloâ they quoted that almost every single dev update here on Waypoint so it 100% was promised to be for returning players.
But it definitely wasnât delivered that way.
The Campaign was to be fair, But the Multiplayer & store sure as hell wasnât.

The vets were always going to return. There was something magical about Halo, it was part of our childhoods growing up. It will always have a place in our hearts in that aspect.
All they had to do to attract us back to the franchise was stick Master chief on the cover and the Halo logo.
Everything else is clearly targeted towards the fortnite/apex crowd buts its so far off point its already alienated them.
They gonna have to sell an awful lot of coatings to make up the difference from what they made from the campaign sales, promo tie ins and whatever else merchandising they had going.
I read somewhere that they even have a thing going on with a nail polish company⌠Whatâs that all about?!

Thereâs girls playing this game too yâknow⌠Coatings through nail polish or energy drinks or a gaming headset⌠same difference, same collab money-scheme. I donât see the problem tbh. If you want a glitter coating and youâre willing to spend money on it, just buy the nail polish 
This needs to stop. 343 is just as responsible for the game as Microsoft is. This is why 343 gets a free pass because of comments like this.

The game can absolutely recover but 343 would need to pull their heads out of their a**.
Have a casual acquaintance, long time Halo fan boy, who got a job at 343. They donât speak highly of the team. We havenât talked in a year but incase they still work there, I remain vague.
My own understanding from their accounts, sounds like a studio of people who werenât hired for their job qualifications but rather their conformity to a âperspectiveâ. Admittedly that may be my own experience in college and in film coloring my view of a workplace Iâve never been to. Take it with many grains of salt.
My point is this. If you are frustrated with the broken state of Halo Infinite, for the love of all things holy donât huff the copium, likewise put down the hopium. Find a game that is fun to occupy your time and wait.

This is where Iâm at. Itâs not just the lack of content when it comes things like firefight, etc⌠itâs also customization, stats, etc.
There is a hell of a lot missing from this game.

Yea Iâm playing the cyber event for my daughter and I. Who refuses to play until she has a body type that doesnât resemble a male body type. So yea, gotta keep her from missing out on all the events.
