Yeah but at least Destiny actually works, has content, and they aren’t charging $20 for skins that only work on a single thing. I can’t say I’m the biggest fan, otherwise I wouldn’t have taken a break for years, but Infinite took everything people hated about Destiny, and built a game around doing it 20x worse.
Is there any feedback to be had from this post besides just throwing around insults?
I mean, yeah. Calling out this game’s lack of meaningful content is incredibly important for the devs to know what the players want, regardless of how it’s worded.
I didn’t even see that. Thanks for letting me know.
We look forward to fixing our garbage netcode and adding more content sometime in 2023. In the meantime, we plan to bring cat ears back. Have fun furry Spartans!!! Keep the feedback coming - we’re listening!

Good. Grief.
Yeh there ‘still learning’ excuse is ridiculous. I accepted this with Halo 4 and let things slide. I also accepted Halo 5 to some degree despite what 343i did but Halo Infinite was just the final straw and it’s a AAA studio that is literally failing at making a AAA game and focusing too much on predatory systems and have no clue how to make a game appealing in the long term.
They are still struggling just to even come up with a road map. I don’t think 343 has a freaking clue on WTH they are doing other than the stupid BP/Shop. Is this all 343 gots after 6 years and 500 million supposedly put into this game or is that 500 million another lie on top of the many they made?
343 is an embarrassment, it’s 2022 and their game can’t even be called a game, it’s a broken beta, a huge mess that the community keeps pointing out all the missing content and broken things, and it shows 343 goal was to make sure all BS was presented first to take advantage of the player base instead of creating a game.
A decade later and this mess is what they offered
I mean really the jokes on us, the players.
343 have borked every release they have made so far in some aspect. In the decade or so they have been operating they have yet to release a working title that didn’t require massive amounts of repairs after the fact or was just straight up garbage.
Leopards cant change their spots after all.
remember how they were all about listenin to the community before the game launched and now theyve been dead silent?
I’m reasonably confident that the higher-ups at 343 looked at the technical preview outcomes and feedback, which was mostly very positive, and then made all their decisions in comparison to feedback in the CoD and Battlefield worlds. CoD bored everyone to sleep this year, and Battlefield 2042 is basically the Battlefield version of Halo 4 - it killed the franchise.
So, they thought they could get away with launching their game - even launching it early - into that environment and then rest on their laurels and do nothing for 3 months.
Unfortunately, the Halo community isn’t interested in “better than that trash game over there”… the Halo community actually wants a finished, polished game that doesn’t feel like a 25% complete beta with its netcode written in 1992.
I stopped playing a week or so back because of how incompetent this company actually is. I have never seen a game so broken other than Destiny 2 launch and that’s because Luke Smith tried to turn Destiny into a wannabe WoW/fornite and 343 is attempting to follow their footsteps.
The disrespect they have shown their player base shows they really don’t give a flying hoot. I will not recommend this game to anyone I know because I will not subject anyone to this BS.
In fact, I have over 400 players on my friends list and quite a few friends where I live, and I’ve been telling them to stay clear from this mess.
The only positive about this game is that you don’t have to pay for gold to play the multiplayer. But if you did need to I would probably be asking for a refund about now.
They did update and fix a few things, right?
No, not yet. First patch added more gametypes, bog standard gametypes that would be included in any first person shooters since pretty much halo 2. That patch broke BTB.
The second patch to fix BTB didnt fix BTB at all and added further lag and people started having issues in the other playlists.
Its truly comical watching them flail around failing to fix their issues but also breaking more things while doing it.
I wont recommend it to anyone cause that would be lying and unlike 343 I have a moral compass.
*Secret Craig fans. Also Craig fans (not stans) rise up.
You may be spitting facts but you’re doing it so rudely that 343 doesn’t bother with you people.
343 doesn’t bother with polite people either as evidenced by their horrible community management and abysmal store pricing. So I guess we are both at a loss.
Yeh and people don’t have to pay for gold on PC for MCC and yet that has plenty more content than Infinite. I’d rather have a fully priced game with plenty of content over a game that is basically there to exploit gamers. I mean like the game-play to some degree but the way there handling Infinite just irritates me to no end.
I’m tired of 343i’s basically acting like they can do wrong then mocking fans and lying to fans. Seriously where do we draw the line before most people say enough is enough? I mean we know it’s doing poorly on Steam and I wish more people call out 343i on how poorly they have mismanaged the IP and I’m sick of it.
Far as I can tell 343i does not manage constructive feedback well and seems too stubborn to make major changes in all of their games. I’ve complained about things like MCC and they refused to deal with cheaters but sadly I don’t have a clue what I’m supposed to do when a company does not want to take responsibility for their behaviour.
The fact that MCC and Infinite is struggling should be a sign for 343i to make changes but there stubborn to actually do something about it.
Summary
The change that’s needed is that MS needs to clear out or reassign all the top brass at 343. And they probably need to can whoever needs to be canned at MS that’s responsible for their practice of outsourcing much of their work to new contractors every 18 months.
It’s the big decision makers at 343 that clearly are not capable of making good decisions for Halo. No other franchise owned by MS has been so consistently and so ineptly mismanaged.
Calling for people to resign/be fired is considered non-constructive feedback.
It’s managed by a corrupt company trying to make the most money, just quit all together and go to MCC or Halo 5. We need to show them that we want a good quality game that isn’t free to play because all that does is ruin everything.
