Shots not registering sounds like lag (Yours or theirs), and H5’s forge is the worst…? Really? It’s the best so far. Complex, but the best. If the text is too small maybe you’d have a better time with it with the PC version, if you have a Win10 machine that can run it.
What is your Internet speed? I suggest you make sure it’s at LEAST 30 mb/s… honestly it should be 60+ for ideal performance.
Telling them to get their act together is a sure fire way to get them to listen to you./s
The only issue I can agree with you on is the lag, which only happens occasionally. As others have suggested, it is either your connection or theirs. Check out your network to make sure everything is running smoothly on your end.

Another post about “343 ruining something”. Great… No, people don’t “cheat” on H5 (You cannot mod the game). Just because you hit someone square on in the face in Swat doesn’t mean they’re “cheating”. It’s sometimes lag that your or the other team has going on. And no, H5 Forge isn’t the worst. It’s the best thing by far in the game.
Internet speed, refresh rate on your TV/Monitor/Display… Those all play a role.
Though… I had the most horrible time with lag and shots not being registered. The medal for a head shot would pop up, but the bottom left screen didn’t show that I got the kill. It was weird.

Yeah, that was a bit of a jarring transition, but at least the instructions are on screen I guess ^^;
Even if it doesn’t make leaps and bounds on release, if they support it like they do 5’s then it should be a sight to behold.
I don’t see why some people honestly feel that 5’s forge is inferior to Reach’s or even 3’s. I can respect arguments about GAMEPLAY being better, but Forge? There’s no contest there. There’s so much you can do in 5’s forge you can’t do in previous iterations too - and not just mechanics (like welding/grouping) but in terms of maps and gametypes!

Yeah, Halo 5’s forge is unbeatable, also, I like halo 5’s forge controls. The only thing I don’t like is that B is up and A is down.
