343 has been chosen to carry the legacy of the greastest franchise of all time and must study what Bungie has failed to do for their fans but here i have a list of what 343 can do to make Halo 4 possibly the best of the series.
Launch an open Beta on Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary so that they can fix any problems, bugs, glitches, and delete anything that is not needed for the Alpha build.
Make use of the D-pad and make all 4 arrows useful for holding equipment, guns perks or etc.(its up to 343 to decide)
Make an awesome ranking system with a combination of Halo 3’s and Halo Reach’s and bring back the cR system for more Armor Upgrades and more.
Bring back more of the old gametypes from Halo 3 and Halo Reach that were really fun such as Juggernaut, Vip, ODST, Race, Infection and etc.
Bring back dual wields and have the ability to melee with both weapons but does the same amount of damage with a melee from a single weapon.
Bring back the BR, i speak for everyone when i say that we want this weapon back.
If possible replace armor lock with something else, i dont know a shield recharge system that recharges shields but if shot in the process of recharging stops recharging.
Make Lone Wolves or Arena a playlist that can be played with more people.
Make Firefight more challenging by facing a boss every 10 waves to bring in more excitement.
Improve the radars on the HUD.
If 343 looks at this and puts these all in Halo 4, 343 would have done what all Halo fans would consider the most important video game of our lives.

Why use the D-pad? I doubt it will be used. Besides was “use the D-pad” so important that it should be listed for something Bungie never could have accomplished?
Your title is very paradox in and of itself… you say what Bungie could never accomplish.
However, you keep making reference of what Bungie did in previous Halo Games, and demanding for those mechanics to return. So in turn they did accomplish a great franchise.
Without Bungie, there would be no Halo, or 343i.
It’s like hating on the creating of the very first automobile, complain it doesn’t have a/c or go over 20mpg.

your statement is also invalid because i didnt say Bungie never did a good job and furthermore i am making references to find what people think of the ideas that i have posted and none the less.

Only thing I really agree with is the radar. While I don’t think it should be changed, it should be more accurate. I hate playing Countdown and constantly turning around to see nobody there. If they’re on a different level of the map, it should be a dark red blip. Period.
