343 Industries... I see what you did there...

You know its quite funny whether by mistake, or mere humour, 343 Industries has layed another practical joke on us…

Take the Master Chief and ONI Agent… the latter is trying to be a reflection of, and quite possible usurp, his predecessor… yet a small reference is quite humourous.

John-117 is hiding from a unknown enemy… possible ONI? And so would be AWOL…

Locke is pursuing John-117…

Now here is the funny reference…

John + Locke = John Locke… a LOST reference. lol Oh 343 Industries…

I’m lost.

> I’m lost.

well, I needed to bust my nose facepalming today anyway.

also, it’s not a lost reference, its a reference to a historical philosopher, lost itself is referencing this as well if im not mistaken.

John Locke is also one of the most important philosophers of the Enlightenment.

Recruits… Recruits everywhere… haha

I was making a joke. The philosopher was the more common theory… but it was funny that it referenced LOST as well.

In my opinion, this specific co-ordination of names… might foreshadow that John-117 and Locke are the catalysts for the union of the Galaxy against the eternal Fount.

I don’t think ONI is the enemy at this point. The ONI spartan is locating Chief, because "he is our only hope for survival. Thats what i got from the trailer.

in turn being the follow up to Chief’s Jesus role in the original trilogy, the Flood’s biblical emulation and the Ark’s biblical connections.

Assuming John and Locke are the catalysts in the second ‘Enlightenment’ (Covie Civil War being the first) isn’t that much of a stretch
