After thinking of what halo has become, can 343 make an ip that would be successful without the name halo on it?
Dude if Halo 4 didn’t have Halo in its name, it would be a success if it didn’t have a past fanbase.
All the cops in GTA V would have Plasma Pistols and Stickys in their loadouts.
Halo 4 (the actual game, not the title) would be a smashing success by any other game studio and title.
We’re just a finicky community who want a specific game by a specific title.

Do you honestly think CoD with slower killtimes would be anywhere near successful? I mean, this game can’t even hold 40k players not even 6 months after launch. 10 times that were playing day 2.
People will still buy it because of the name.

343 incompetent? Nah. just bad vision in the creation process.
343’s sole duty is the management and development of the Halo franchise. Games, books, comics, toys, merchandise.
Why would they make a different IP?
Also, Halo 4 without the “Halo” in it would just be “4”, which doesn’t make sense no matter how you look at it.

Please forward your ideas to my local police department. It will be so much easier when I’m hired to catch criminals with EMP overcharges.
