](http://www.bungie.net/Stats/Reach/GameStats.aspx?gameid=817217187&player=BIuex)This is the scene entirely too often for me. The fact of the matter is matches in Reach are entirely unfair. Matchmaking needs a system of putting good players on both teams for competitive environments. But instead, its me seeing if I can carry a handful of people who I’m lucky if can get 10 kills each.
Anyone else have this problem? And anyone have any ideas of how to fix it? And dont say play with people you know. Friends arent always on and I should be able to trust that I will be pared with not great but respectable teammates.
Yeah theres no hidden ranking system like there was in H3, yes there was indeed a hidden ranking system in social that made sure you were matched up with players of similar skill.

I dont know where you heard that but its not true, the only trueskill was in ranked playlists until reach

Weather you like it or not there is a trueskill system in Reach too, hidden but present. Problem is that it’s as broken as it was in Halo 3 which makes for bad games and uneven teams.
Not to mention you might choose to prioritize say good connection (less lag/host advantage), or a quiet lobby (no screaming kids) and it’s an even smaller chance of even teams.
If they just have dedicated servers for the next Halo, with MM and server browser, then people who are casual could play on a casual server and people who wants a fight can join others who play to win on such server. You can join friends matches and if someone quits a new player joins shortly, not to mention no host, less lag/ping.
