Listen to me 343. For halo 5 you must include some of the old music from Halo 1 or 2 or 3 :0 The campaign for halo 4 was good but if it had some old music in it I would be crying with happiness for the next few weeks.
Move on. Marty was great and he has a place in my heart, but I like this new guy a lot too!
Agreed 100%. Halo 4 had some great tracks (Nemesis, 117, Arrival and Revival) But it missed the classic music from the first trilogy. I would like to see more pieces like the Delta Halo suite from Halo 2 and the Halo theme in Halo 5.

The music in Halo 4 is awesome, its epic and very fitting, but it doesnt really feel like Halo.

Personally, you really have to listen to the soundtrack to know all the music, but I think the new producer is a good replacement for Marty.
We’ve all been calling it the ‘HALO’ theme for a decade for good reason…
That’s the song that’s playing through my head while I play paintball, because that’s how good it is at getting me(every halo fanboy) pumped.
The new stuff has it’s place, but mostly as filler. The music during the end of the last level drove me nut’s! Felt like generic ‘hero’ music.
For me the new music tries to both do it’s own thing, and be a throwback to older music. I notice little similarities in some parts, and it just makes me want the older music.
