Now I understand how Diablo fans felt when they got to play Diablo 3. I’m really disappointed. I hope 343i reads their forums and start to fix their game, learns from their mistakes and makes sure Halo 5 is better. I’m sorry to say this, but(as the halo 4 announcer says) your team has dropped the ball…

I’m having a blast. Sure there are some things that need to be fixed like the wall glitches and custom game options, but besides that it is a great game. It will be even better when some decent maps comes out too.
Same here. Once SWAT and Grifball are put in (and hopefully kept in, forever.) I will enjoy it for many many months. Depending on how they handle the maps, I might pick those up too.
Hopefully it is more like Reach, where if you don’t have the maps, they won’t be an option. It really bugged me in Halo 3 that if you didn’t have certain maps, you couldn’t play certain playlists at all.

I hope it’s like Halo 3 honestly. I downloaded all the map packs for Reach and only played them, outside of the dedicated playlist, maybe 10 times? Atleast with required DLC you know you’re guaranteed to play the DLC maps more often (Well actually who knows since we still have the voting system).

You and me both. No game is perfect but the annoyance level is way down in this game compared to the previous one. I have a lot of fun in every match. I hope it lasts.
I never said anywhere in my post that I hated this game. As someone who has played since Halo 1, this game feels like it’s missing so much. I’m surprised at the people who enjoy it as much as they say. I wish I could have as much fun with Halo 4 as you guys.

My recommendation would be to take a day or two off from Halo and video games in general, just to get your mind on something else. Then, come back to it and see how it plays then. I’ve heard this has worked well for other people.
I don’t understand why so many people are complaining. 343i changed some things to keep the game fresh and not get stale. They wanted to the game to be more accessible to new players, to expand their fan base. I don’t see anything wrong with the changes they’ve made. Any real gamer will adapt and move on. I personally love the game. It’s hard not to when you’ve put as much as I have into the games, novels and comics as I have. It’s halo, it’s a great game in terms of graphics, voice acting, motion capture and all. It will be even better when swat becomes a permanent playlist.

was a 50 and hated reach. That said H4 is easily better than H3 and equal to CE and 2
