I was so hyped for this game, thinking it would be some godly game that I would play for years to come, and now 3/4 days later it’s just ‘another game’ to me. Same problems I had before.
Always on a crap team and this whole ‘join in progress’ thing is stupid- people quit the game if their LOSING. This is why I always get put with the losing team.
To top things off I now can’t play matchmaking because apparently I’m not connected to XBL when I am.
If this game didn’t have that much hype, you wouldn’t be expecting SO much and then you’ll be pleased.
Also in future I won’t be watching tons of info vids on the game. I felt like I had played it before I actually had.
They didn’t hype the game that much if you ask me. You by your action and expectations over hype the game and now you are the only one responsible if it doesn’t live up to your or you feel like you know too much about it.
Learn from this and next time don’t do the same again.
I avoided getting caught up in any MP hype and kept my expectations low, so things have gone okay for me. All the things I thought would be problems are problems and there are even some other problems I wasn’t expecting thrown into things.
I’d say keep up with the hype, but expect the worst.
I agree with OP, the game has a lot of the things I didn’t like in Reach and more. The old Halo gameplay is dead to me. Hopefully I can enjoy this one after some updates.
