343 has said there will be a progression system with which you can unlock things and change your loadout! Why? You saw how Reach went! I’m not saying this could ruin the game if they execute it properly I just fail to see why it’s needed. I also don’t want a H3 carbon copy.

I’m not crying wolf, but the return of Loadouts and AAs definitely doesn’t bode well. I think it very largely depends on WHAT the AAs are. If we get another Armor Lock…This series is done.

I love Halo. One of the things that made it perfect was that everyone was on equal footing. If you were better, you won. This just -Yoinks!- it up. I’m going to wait for more info but this might be the last straw. You can’t imagine how upset I am.

I’m going to wait until we hear more about what that means before I start complaining. I can tell you this though, reading “According to 343, Halo 4 will add customizable loadouts and abilities that are unlocked through a progression system.” did not make me happy. Maybe it’ll be a campaign only thing? It sure sounds a lot like armor abilities to me though…
When they showed the HUD in the video they were either playing a game type with no Armor Abilities or there isn’t any because there was no armor ability on the HUD

I’ve read a few articles where they spoke to different people. They said it will be different to COD. They said they no there will be a lot of people who dislike this idea and they will allow customisation that will change the way you play the game, it sounded like it wasn’t only perks but also the option to turn them off and playlists without perks. It seems to me that they’ve found a way to make it cater to more people, both old fans and new.
