Would anyone else be interested in havin strongholds on the map Fathom? I was on Forge looking at it and it honestly seems like it would be fun and it wouldn’t just be ctf all the time, what do you all think? (I personally would rather have more maps but something like this would be much easier)

that would be cool, or have a social stronghold playlist for a weekend or something

Where would the 3 strongholds be?

I’m assuming the 2 spawns and maybe top mid at camo spawn?

I can just see Fathom being way too easy to control points on. Having top mid, assuming that being the spot the Stronghold is placed, would basically assure victory. You have open sight lines on both Red and Blue base, and you’d only actually need to watch one of the two bases to being scoring. This reasoning coincides with why I don’t think it would work on Truth as well.

Well it really just depends on what they think would work best, when I was lookin at it on Forge there was like 6 different stronghold bases on that map lol

As I just looked at it again on Forge I think the best place would be blue yard red yard and bottom mid , or red treehouse blue treehouse and bottom mid. Those would work out best imo as long as top mid ain’t a stronghold point I think it would all work out good

I’d say the middle stronghold should be at top mid. Bottom mid is a nade trap and would be easy to control. Top mid has so many ways to jump up to that it wouldn’t be easy to hold but not difficult with a competent team.

ya i agree , i did a custom game and it was crazy bottom mid doesn’t work out that well lol

All you have to do it sit at the bases and porches and just throw nades at bottom mid. Easy win LUL.

If anything, we chuck camo bottom mid and mid SH at top mid. Definitely plays much better coneptually
