As we now Halo 4 is on vacation except, ironicly so are it’s players and costumers so why do the makers take a leave of absence when everybody is playing? Your opinion please?

Everything is running smoothly on my side. What is there to complain about? It’s not like they took down the multiplayer servers or there is a new game breaking glitch that popped up.

I know this sounds heartless but from a business perspective when a majority of your paying customers buy your product in heart of the holidays and your fundamental DLC sales hinge on consumer satisfaction taking a break isn’t the best option. If you want to avoid the ghosts of Christmas then release your game as a beta in April hash out your bugs throughout the year and release it in November with major DLC ready to go in December.
Just releasing it and then going silent over the Holidays with a broken experience being constantly pointed out by the community is damning.
its not broken, you guys need to take it easy go do something else get a job or get another side job. people work and deserve a holiday break, if you guys are old enough then you would understand, people need to stop complaining the game is playable thats why going here in this forum is not even fun anymore coz all you see are complains.
complaining too much coz 343 made halo 4? there first actual game. pls im sure you guys who can complain can do better??.. not. so how about wait couple of weeks for the update or go play another game and maybe you’ll enjoy that better so we have one less person who is complaining, have a great new year people.

While I agree with the general sentiment, I don’t think it is okay to tell people to not bring their criticisms to a game cause it is “their first try.” You learn from your mistakes, and many believe 343 has made some huge mistakes with Halo 4. They, as a support community and a dedicated player base, have every right and are even encouraged to bring their criticisms to the game. Even a poorly worded post of “Boltshot sucks.” will be read and considered by a good game studio. Of course, the more constructive the better, but one cannot expect every forum post to have those elements.
With that being said, a major reason for a forum is for such things. If this is shocking to you, then you have not circulated game forums for very long. Even the most successful games, CoD, WoW, StarCraft, have absolutely BRUTAL forums.

I do to everybody is entitled to relax every once in awile, fully agree. But it isn’t very smart to take absence if you just launched a product wich the majority isn’t satisfied with.
