I don’t know how many of you guys noticed this or not, but a post on the 343 blog was “The Curse of the Needler.”
Now of course it could just be coincidence, but the Machinima really wasn’t great enough to make the front page. It was funny, but why bother? Halo 3’s been out for a very long time now, so are they hinting that not only did they but duel wielding back in, but that you can duel wield needlers, thus prooving a Covenant (or at least Grunt/Jackal) presence?
Duel wield needlers would be fun… but WAY too overpowered!

They weren’t so bad in Halo 2. If they used Reach needlers, then yes.

I don’t understand the source and how it relates to dual-wielding in Halo 4, please explain.
There was always something so satisfying about duel wielding Needlers in Halo 2. It was a fun weapon to use in all games though.
I fail to see how this has anything to do with Halo 4…

I think it’s because the author submitted his video to them and they merely approved. I don’t think it has anything to do with Halo 4.
Reach isn’t the only Halo content that get recognized on the front page. Apparently.
If dual-wielding isn’t in Halo 4 I would irregardless pissed off. As for why it’s on the front page, 343i, notably bs angel, seem to have a poor taste in humor.
As long as they build in a good counter so that it isn’t overpowered, then I think even dual wielding needlers could work ok.

Reach needlers are garbage IMO.

Dude, anyone who knows Halo 2, would know that if you timed your triggers right you could have a supper LMG Duel Needler. Press one trigger and a second later press the other and you get a constant barrage of Needles. IT was WAY to over powered in Halo 2, But guess what…
