With a December 8th release Infinite will be missing basic features for half a year AT LEAST, and based on MCC update schedule it could be much longer. 343 told us 6 years ago that co-op would be there at launch. It was planned from the start and they still couldn’t manage it, and Forge being absent that long is a sign of enormous mismanagement.
There is no way we aren’t getting a horrific repeat of Halo 5’s embarrassing launch. Where in the world is the advertising they told us would have been in full swing by now? It’s releasing in 3 months and we know next to nothing. We mainly know what we aren’t getting for 60 dollars, which they neglected to tell us until a week ago (wow how transparent).
They are hiding something incredibly embarrassing. It’s the only explanation for Microsoft’s flagship title being absent from all Microsoft events. I will be astonished if we get more than 8 maps and anything resembling Halo 3’s robust custom game options. I have a feeling that Custom Games simply are not meeting their quality requirements, so they’ll opt to give us the much higher quality experience of literally no custom games. Almost certain we won’t be getting the customs browser either, or they would have told us about it by now. Prepare for a Halo disappointment like you’ve never seen before. Nobody should be giving them money on Steam or Gamepass to play what will undoubtedly be an unfinished disaster. Stop giving these companies a free pass.
