343, Help Those With Short-Term Memory...

Today I’d like to make a suggestion about the UI in the Player ID section of Options and Career.

As I play, and am thoroughly enjoying, Halo: MCC and unlocking new Avatars, Nameplates and Emblems. I quickly forget what I achieved to get any particular unlock as the description is replaced with a obvious ‘press A to replace’ kinda thing. My simple suggestion, as it is, is to keep the details of the unlocking condition AFTER said thing is unlocked. As the years pass, and I will be playing this for years, it will be nice to remember what it took achieve all these unlocks.

Thanks for listening,
Vox

I agree, I had this same issue when looking at my unlocks. Wanting to know what I did to unlock the stuff.

Good call! I find this extremely frustrating. I’d also like to see a little “New” icon above the nameplate or avatar the first time you scroll over them, like was the case with Halo 4 armor unlocks. When I get “6 New Avatars” it’s hard to figure out which 6 are the new ones. Being able to sort them so the ones that are unlocked show up first in the list would be nice too.

Does it matter wheat you did to unlock a certain nameplate? No it doesn’t. Just pick the one you want to use.

I think it does. Especially if you did something epic with out realizing what you did and end up earning a rare one…

Of course it matters.
Imagine if the achievement notification simply said “Achievement unlocked” and nothing more, and you couldn’t hold in the xbox guide button to go straight to it’s description. Now imagine if, as well as this, it didn’t separate unlocked achievements from locked ones and did not move unlocked ones to the top in the order that you unlocked them. You would now be forced to scroll down the list of 450 achievements in an effort to find which one it is that you just unlocked so that you can see what it was called, what you did to earn it and how much gamerscore it was worth.

This is a problem. I’m hoping there will be a list of them on the internet somewhere, so I can look and see which ones unlock for what.
