My argument is how they like locked cross core features to the players.
We know it’s available as the bots have it. But they locked every single thing to one item
Take the scarlet wake red, they locked that to the MK7.
Sold it in it’s own bundle along with other recycle stuff.
Than they sold us Scarlet skies but this time locked it to the Reach Core. And in it’s own bundle.
Than with the Yoroi Armor.
They were even creative. They know they don’t have the creativity to allow us universal cosmetics and cross core customization without running out of stuff to sell us.
And I mean if they allow cross core than they end up losing out on getting more money and not having to out that much effort into the product.
So far the store is just offering us the same stuff renamed or repackaged as other stuff.
When they said Cross Core would take time they meant it is time needed to have their business team find another way to monetize it.
I mean imagine if they let us use one coating across all weapons gear, and armor cores.
Be able to use armor attachments on other cores. Those reach chest peices would look like on the MK7. Especially the shotgun chest peices.
They purposely didn’t want us having those features because they wanted to max profit off us with repeated content.
I have a post that shows the a YouTuber show the bots With MK7 armor wearing reach armor attachments. Ots scummy but they did that on purpose
Yup I mean they locked the players out of cross core customization too. That wasn’t an accident.
And why bother buying anything, because when the new core comes out non of it would transfer over … just got to re open that wallet and re purchase everything
Yeah I feel the same. There’s no fomo in the store for me because I haven’t seen anything worth buying. Which is why recycled bundles in the store piss me off because I WANT to spend money lmao
I’m honestly less upset about the whole core locking than I am about the repeated bundles in the store. Because I know for a fact they have -Yoink!- tons of content planned for the store so they should be PUTTING IT IN THE STORE! Not rotating the same 6 daily bundles in and out week after week
Yea no the core locking bugs me because the bots have that option which means they purposely locked us out of that feature. And they are drip feeding us content and reusing old content at the same time. The whole thing is scummy.

Because they locked the coatings to each core they have tried to re sell us Scarlet Wake. To me it’s so lame how they lock the same color.to one core and try reselling it to you.
Hell fort it’s even let’s you mix and match which is exactly what we want. Hell we thought it was going to be a mix and match ability. But 343 gives us the customization system that has so many options and than puts a limiter on it.
And are going out on other content. They really just said F u to the game community with that.
It actually is pretty annoying seeing the same daily multiple times. I know damn well from the data mines that there is way more content than we are seeing. If the daily is truly randomized, that’s a stupid way to do it. The daily should be scheduled. Then the Waypoint app could have a calendar of the upcoming daily items.
In Destiny, Xur is randomized, and I would be pissed when he would have the same garbage for several weeks in a row for Warlocks or weapons or whatever. It felt like a waste of a week. What’s worse is Halo Infinite wasting daily slots by having an additional weekly now, like last week’s Mud Hog Wild. Nobody wanted that garbage, so don’t have it up for a whole week. The cat ears are selling like mad, so that’s understandable. However, if you’re going to have 3 weekly slots, have 3 daily slots, so I can hurry up and get to those data mined items I actually do kind of want.
Better yet, steal yet another page out of Destiny and just turn the store into a bootleg Eververse, with multiple pages of daily and weekly items, as well as past items, that we can buy as bundles or individually, with an earnable free currency for some (but not all) shop items.
343, help me help you. You’re making it a chore to want to buy anything. It’s such a hassle and trash shop system, you’re making people not want to buy stuff.

A common thing for me is that each bundle only ever has one thing that I want or have any interest in.
Today:
- The odd ball charm in the 5 euro one
- The white wasp (Which would really just make you more visible in a bad way) in the 10 euro one
- The bumper in the 15 euro one
- The mister chief AI model and maybe the charm in the 20 euro one
If I could get these things for a euro each individually, I would. It would be 5 euro in total
