So 343 have released a statement couple days ago saying they have heard the feedback from the fans concerning the radar, medals, weapon sounds, xp progression and gravity physics and are working on improving these things or in other words making them as they once were again!.. my point is all these things they now have to spend time changing and improving are all things that were fine in all previous halo games but yet again 343 felt the need to change things and put there own mark on yet another halo game which yet again has resulted in backlash! WHEN WILL THEY LEARN?! STOP TRYING TO CHANGE WHAT ISNT BROKEN?! STOP TRYING TO CHANGE EVERY SINGLE THING BUNGIE HAD IN THERE GAMES AND LEFT FOR 343 TO WORK FROM!!! im all for improvements here and there but why do they feel the need to waste time changing stuff that the community has never complained about?!! JUST STOP! Your trying to change to much of what was a great franchise and your just creating more work for yourselves no wonder we arent getting co-op and forge at launch and god knows what else! Its cause there having to waste time changing things back to the way they already were in bungies halo games!!
It not like Bungie never made changes between games…
Lol I can already predict this post will get out of hand

That’s what happens when you post milquetoast generalising statements with zero value, purpose or argumentative merit. (When I say “you” I dont mean you specifically, TyroneRundaGang)
Its not a good faith argument its “haha number company made mistake laugh at the number company” because admitting to your mistakes is seen as a bad thing? For some reason.
Im glad 343 can admit when they’ve fudged it up. Some of you would be better off with a similar mentality to things honestly.
343 could cure cancer and the first thing this forum would see is “they spent all that time making video games WHEN THEY COULD HAVE CURED CANCER???” - obviously a ridiculous hypothetical but the bias is obvious. Halo 4 and 5 were experimental and not always good but can you lot actually just get over yourselves for once.
.
Its impossible to WANT to talk about Infinite here because its always something with you guys ffs

Hm? I read the op and saw nothing constructive, hence why I said this will get out of hand.
I think its very positive that 343i are listening to Halo fans and its good that we are leaning them back on the right path for halo. The fact that they are openly taken our opinions will pay off for the game. Im sure things would of been worse if they didnt change anything and we would of been disappointed at launch. Even though im not happy at whats lacking at launch its good to look at it positive sides at what we are not getting too. As it goes for 343i, i have more faith in the devs rather than the corporate suits when it comes to this game. You are right to point out that 343 have taken things out and time after time put them back in. They are learing as they go. I would have no idea how anyone could take over the game mechanics from bungie. Even former bungie employees said they have no idea how they managed to get the game engine to work, the codes look like they were held together by duct tape. Hopefully this being the 3rd halo title from 343 they should do better than there previous titles and hopefully wont have their corporate suits making unwanted content because thats how they make money or not be pushed by Microsoft with their boot on halos neck to make more profit from their cash cow. Halo is halo. Its not 343’s halo, even bungie new that halo is its own thing.
It’s called hearing community feedback, I’d rather them make changes now than not make them ever.
Instead of just having a hot take on anything the devs do actually be thankful that they’re listening to what players feel and are accommodating that.
The constant threads bashing 343i are tiresome, it’s just a game. I love Halo and want to play Infinite just as much as anyone else here but constantly being negative helps no one, it’s just embarrassing yourself by screaming at a wall whilst everyone else walks by carrying on with life.
A dev having to make changes on a game? I am shocked.
Seriously, this is game development, this happens every single day.

While they should be given credit for listening to feedback, its also kind of weird they have to keep being given this feedback. This is effectively their third main halo game at this point.
Despite being constantly told not to change what works, they like changing what works, usually to make it just more like other modern shooters for no real benefit.
If we have to keep reminding them over and over, listening is fine, but they aren’t internalizing it or considering it from the beginning.

Yes and im talking about why that is. And also how hard it is to want to talk here
Imagine a complaining about a developer listening to community feedback and then making changes based on that feedback, couldn’t be me.
