However, after playing some TU BTB in halo reach my hope is restored. If we had that game + BR’s and a 1-50 ranked section I think halo 4 will be staying in my disc tray until the arrival of halo 5.
Who said anything about a ranking system? We know an exp system is in the game, so don’t get your hopes up.

I will tell you the same thing as what I say to haters - we cannot judge a game fully until it comes out.
my hopes are up though, 343 don’t let us down.
That’s why I threw the ‘if’ in there - without a ranking system the games longevity will suffer for me. I don’t play to earn a rank that is based on time served but to improve my ability and receive a score based on my skill.
This I was I’m still playing FIFA 12 head to head online because i am yet to achieve the top division rank.

Ah! I have two xbox’s, a wii and a ps3:
Wii is for the family
Ps3 is used for blu rays and football/soccer games (most of my friend play ps3)
Xbox in family room is used for more like a media centre, kinect/rockband and other ‘throwaway’ titles
Xbox in my game room is used for fps games due to setup
So my enjoyment is pretty wide but in the context of fps it normally remains focused on one game at a time.

No I didn’t participate in the 343 rage on here bar a completely unbiased poll about people happiness with the direction of halo 4! Just in social circles.

I would love a ranked and social playlist. I’m not a hardcore ‘pro’ player and i do spend time in the social playlists in h3 - I’d just like the choice.
We still have no idea how XP will be earned. I would guess it will be a system similar to Reach…

I’m happy with exp or ‘spartan points’ being earnt for playing that can be spent on armour etc I just don’t think it should be how you earn your stripes. it’s odd playing halo reach and being paired up with a ‘hero’ or ‘mythic’ player only to realise that they aren’t as skilled as you they just play it a lot. I personally felt that h3 ranking system worked, any variation of a 1-50 system would make me happy.
If halo 4 has a ranking system that works it will be epicness. I love what i see so far

All OP needs is a br and a ranking system to have fun. Neo has a problem with that(mostly with the BR).
