I know it took them a little while but they are fixing the game as we speak. The boxes on the “missing content in Halo 4” list are slowing being ticked off and this “CSR” system (Aka Highest Skill 2.0) should keep the competitive community satisfied!
I’m just hoping that it will appear next to the in-game SR on your Spartan ID so other matchmaking player in the lobby can instantly know how good you are (that was the original purpose of it).
As well as this, they are also bringing out:
the file browser
extraction playlist (A gametype I never played before)
Grifball
Team Doubles
Ranked Playlists
New Gametypes we never seen before (I hope they bring back Classic Flag, Fixed Flood, Classic Slayer, and “Insane”)
<mark>Moral of the Story: 343 ARE LISTENING TO US!</mark> We just got to be patient. They might not be as prompt as Bungie since they are a new company, but they ARE working hard behind our backs. We as a community need to get used to the idea that they aren’t going to fix the game INSTANTLY. As long as the criticisms are heard, we don’t need to argue no more or quit the game because you haven’t seen any fixed YET.

i love Halo 4, and i honestly believe 343i is commanding Halo pretty well so far,
all i want to know is, what were they thinking when they made the Boltshot a one-shot-kill weapon
i also want to know, why they took the warthog, Halo’s Freaking signature, and turned it into a laughingstock on wheels.

TBF, I rarely get instant kills with the boltshot, you have to be less than 2 feet away from them if you want the power of a scattershot.
I personally like the new warthog. It’s like the change from old to new master chief. It’s just a new design we eventually have to get used to.

> Extraction? Crap, that’s seems to be amazing. Sounds like Escape mode from Colonial Marines. Looking towards it.
Extraction is in the game already.
It shows up occasionaly in the Crimson DLC playlist.
Its actually pretty cool. The game starts with (3?) Extraction sites. A player reaches and begins the extraction process (a really awesome animation as the artifact works). You then ned to defend the beacon for a certain amount of time.
When the extraction process is complete the beacon closes up and all the Extraction objects in the area sort of explode into data streams.
And a new extraction site is marked.
5 extractions to win. You can take over enemy extractions and stuff too.
Its pretty fun, and the animations are awesome.
And you are right. Patience is what has been lacking. 343i aren’t machines. And bs angel has said they’ve run into some problems trying to fix things like the fileshare, its taking longer than expected.

CSR looking at an april release for specific playlist tracking through Waypoint in the form of a 1-50 system.
Honestly, I’d rather them take their time and get it right, rather than rush through with it making even more issues for the community to complain about, and then have to take time to fix that again.

Read the most recent Bulletin in the “News” section.
When CSR launches, it will be able to track specific skill in the “competitive” playlists. I also believe she said they will co tinue to try making the more competitive playlists like Slayer more competitive for this purpose.
