So other than to write some useless blog posts which pointed blame rather than accept accountability, 343 hasn’t claimed to do anything. They did try to do some break fixes. They reset ranked. Maybe they added some code blocks to debug and may or not caused more issues.
But everything else has been hopes, dreams, and speculation from the community. No one is changing aim assist. No one is fixing desync. They don’t even know where to start.
Season 2 is close enough that maybe they are prepping for a good Season with major changes. I suspect it will be have new modes with the same problems but hopefully not. We will see….
You want a cheeseburger deluxe for dinner, you receive a bologna sandwich. Why are you mad? It’s close enough. It’s meat on bread. Maybe it doesn’t have the right meat, or the right bread, any seasoning, or any condiments, toppings, or anything you really wanted in the first place, but you know, the foundation is kind of in the same area. I don’t understand why you’re upset.

343 won’t be fixing any of that within 2 months, with Co-op and Forge delayed further into the future. It took them nearly 3 months to fix BTB. You’ll be lucky if the game is stable by 2025, based on how long it took MCC to be good
There seems to be a bug (as some claim to not have issues) that causes aim assist to fall off or completely turn off when your shields are broken, jumping, and sliding. Aim assist also seems to diminish in strength when firing your weapon, when using certain weapons and at different field of views.
It’s my theory that this is intentional design in an attempt to “balance” controller against KBM. But as mentioned above some claim to not have issues at all. There also seems to be a difference in strength between Xbox and PC. With Xbox having significantly stronger aim assist. Though the same issues still exist. I’ve noticed this while playing on my Series X compared to my PC.
I’m sorry, but expecting 343 to fix foundational issues is totally within our right. If we don’t hold them accountable for fixing the game or lying to us about armor customization and the store then nothing will change. At this point we should not expect 343 to do anything but it doesn’t hurt to remind them of what’s at stake.
Except 343 requested us halo players to help them fix mcc. That why the Halo insider program was made for. Sure it took bout 5 years to fix mcc but it took a year+ when they initiated the program as it was getting put on pc one at a time from december 2019. I know this cause I playtested on a good amount of flight builds on mcc as well of infinite before it was on beta build. The only way to get it better is to keep playing it and keep providing feed back regardless if it positive, negative or something that you want to see change. But don’t post toxic ones. AS well report bug, error and really any big gamebreaking issues that breaks the game.
More like used the ElDewrito Halo Online lawsuit as a settlement to get fan devs and modders to fix it for them. 343 should just do that for Infinite. Have fan devs, map makers, and modders, hired by Certain Affinity, with Max the CEO as the lead designer again, and Halo Infinite would be golden
Halo’s community constantly blows my mind. Mfers don’t even know what the issues are and yet they speak as if they do, and often times criticizing us for being angry at those said issues. Like buddy, that is the point, we’re all upset because 343 have not done anything.
I’m not referring to eldrito. I’m referring to bringing mcc on pc and then bringing in later on updated forge modes for halo 3, reach and 4. As well bringing in firefight for reach and odst, as well updated version of odst firefight and brought in some new maps for halo 3. I’m not referring to mods or eldrito. I’m simply they ask us for help on it.
Heres a explaining of halo insider program

As well read it from the official page of the halo insider program

To be fair MCC only had 1 year of attention before Halo 5 launched, MCC has only had a total of 4 years attention if you include 2019-2022 and even then attention stopped halfway through 2022. It took 343 about a total of what 3.5-ish years to not only make MCC good, but add new games to it, ODST, and Reach.
Halo Infinite on the other hand, you can tell by 343’s behavioral pattern and lack of response to the community, that this is what the game will forever be, a mess, a lie, an insult to the fans.
it’s March. There’s 12 months in a year. Divide that in half and you get 6, halfway through the year would be June.
we are 3 months into 2022, not halfway.
mcc support went on hiatus back in september 2021. so far we’ve had 6 months of nothing for mcc in terms of updates and more mod tools. i guess that’s what you meant by 6 months of nothing.
can’t believe it’s been that long since season 8…and we still only have halo 1, 2 and 3 mod tools. no flood firefight, no other mod tools and still no steam workshops, oh and no M F’ING PC SPLIT SCREEN CURSE YOU SKE7CH AND YOUR BS LIES!!! ahhhhhh…
I think we are upset by the fact that despite how every game has given us so much in terms of content, this is the most lacking game in terms of content since Halo 2.
They should’ve done linear levels instead of open world as everywhere on the campaign looks the same. It’s basically a copy paste 101 of open world games.
go to A, do B, repeat all over the map and shoot clusteres of enemies dotted around the map.
while a few cutscenes play inbetween.
end of game.
mixture of linear maps with different settings are better than one giant map of nothing but grass, trees and rocks.
That’s lazy map design. like what ubisoft do, just create a massive map, say it’s awesome but just copy paste the same crap over the whole thing and call it the biggest most interesting immersive map yet!
