In what regard, exactly?
Going back to the artstyle that was established for a decade before them and that they switched up just to put their mark on the series (and still messing up classic armors)?
Netcode that leads to inconsistent aiming and being consistently killed while behind cover?
A monetization system that crams players into three playlists and funnels them into the store just so they can get through their challenges every week?
Locking most customization options behind a storefront instead of classic challenge unlocks?
Completely broken custom games, no forge, no co op campaign, etc?
343i has certainly outdone themselves. I don’t know if I would use the word redeemed.
But, they’re on the right track, or at least adjacent to it. If they listen to us they might actually have a redemption on their hands. But so far they’re bartering with goodwill they don’t have and it’s going to shoot them in the foot.
