> I know the whole argument well I paid for a product I should get what I paid for etc. But if 343i did indeed ruin Halo for you then you have your mind in the wrong place. You Still have Halo from before 343i on your 360. You can still play it on your 360 and so long as xbox live is usable on the 360 you can play Reach and Halo 3. You don’t need an xbox one to play the pre-343 halos. Sadly you can’t play h2 online but that is nothing new at all, you haven’t been able to play on that for many years now, well except of on the PC if you still have that itch.

> It is fine that you are disappointed in 343i and the MCC and maybe even H4, but is that really excuse enough to allow them to ruin Halo for you? You still have the old Halo to revert back to, why allow this failure to ruin your vision of it. Bungie is not the Bungie of old they have their own project and most likely don’t care about Halo. Now I know I cannot speak for individuals, but as a business model Halo is not their job to worry about anymore, and the failure of Halo for 343 is a possible gain for them for their new franchise.

> I personally have had a real good experience with post Bungie Halo overall, yes there have been some bad hiccups, but I have not allowed that to ruin my vision of my favorite universe. To be honest, in my opinion 343i has failed on MP side mostly so far, but have far succeeded the story and lore of the universe than Bungie ever did, and it has made me love Halo all the more. But the MP failures has not taken away my old love for the old MP I enjoyed for thousands of hours. I personally am hopeful (maybe to a fault, but still hopeful) that H5 will succeed. The success might come at a cost to a minority population, but I feel it will succeed. This is basically 343i’s chance to mediate the damages of the MCC and the MP failure of H4 and learn from their mistakes and move forward. I think they will take the right steps, despite the opinions of some communities including: anti-sprint and pro-sprint, casual and competitive and in-between.

> “This game ruined my impression of the Xbox One because they are old halo games getting released on “next gen” and it just doesn’t work at all…” Please don’t let the MCC ruin this for you, there are many great games on the Xbox One that are definitely worth your time and represent next gen, yet this is your choice.

Thanks for replying, I defintely feel a lot more chilled out now taking a step back and thinking about it more… I agree on the lore and story, 343i has done incredible with that aspect of Halo, it’s just the multiplayer is such a vital part of every Halo game.
And to a lot of Halo fans this was the best thing to have ever been heard of at the time pre-release…
I just sincerely hope that 343i truly cares for its fans and Halo MP, Halo 5 was like a breath of fresh air when I played the Beta and I do have high hopes for it. I just really really hope 343i pulls through and releases the best Halo to date with H5.
I guess all all of this Halo MCC mess just really shocked me, it caught me off guard to see Halo released the way it was.
