That’s it. I’ve decided. I’m not buying Halo 5 at all because 343 has killed the Halo franchise. After the disappointment of Halo 4, I had hoped that 343 would make reprimands for their mistakes with an INCREDIBLE game. However, after playing the Halo 5 Guardians Beta, I have numerous complaints. I’ve been a Halo fan for almost 10 years now, and I have to say that it is the WORST Halo game I have ever played. I’d expected that Halo 5 would have that classic Halo feel with heavy guns and a semi-fictional feel to the game. Halo 5 guardians feels like I’m playing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The weapons look like they were taken directly from COD, and the gameplay feels like I’m running around in Black Ops 2. By a combination of both crappy and too realistic weapons, Call of Duty-like gameplay, and an overall terrible atmosphere to the game, 343 has killed my interest in Halo altogether. So congratulations 343 Industries, kudos to you. You have just lost one of your most dedicated fans.

343i is taking a great franchise and turning it into something no one wants.
I want it and I’ve been both positive and negative feedback about the beta. But if Halo is on the cusp of death to you, oh well. It is still alive for me.

I would disagree to that. I love the direction 343 is bringing halo. they just are not bungie, and need to work out a few bugs, (A lot of bugs.) but other than that, they are great.

Not really. They’re mixing old school and new school with the hope of keeping everyone happy.
Plus, Spielberg has his show coming out this Fall.
Halo is FAR from over bud.
343i has not “killed” Halo in my eyes. If you want to leave, that’s up to you, I won’t persuade you to stay, but I’m perfectly happy with what 343i has done. I’m also waiting until Halo 6 to compare them to Bungie in any way.

Yep. I’ll probably just watch a let’s play on easy for the h5 campaign since I’ll be curious as to what’s happened. But no, I won’t buy anything from 343 after this trash ever again.
You gave up after playing a beta? They got to fix a lot but other than that I’m really lookin forward to next fall
