You get to choose the 5 maps that get remade from any halo game except Halo: Reach. and obviously you can’t choose maps that are already in CEA, but that should be a given.

what are your top 5 that you choose in order. Here are mine.

  1. Chill Out/Cold storage. Love this map, probably my favorite in CE
  2. Narrows- The ultimate small map for capture the flag. Worked great for Slayer too.
  3. High Ground- Absolutley LOVED this map, especially for One flag Capture.
  4. Zanzibar/Last Resort- Just a classi
  5. No doubt that number one is The Pit. No need for explanation here.

So these are the maps I would choose for a map pack in HALO: CEA

Just for a few honorable mentions- Gaurdian, Construct, Danger Canyon, Derelict, Wizard/Warlock, Midship, Boarding Action.

Op, all the maps you chose are already on halo 3… there is no point in remaking them.

SANDTRAP, w/ Ops to change center from Sandtrap, Sandbox and flatland styles

Geyrophobia/Narrows Mix, Larger for vehicles but able to find action

Ratsnest with more paths for vehicles, and open areas

Avalance/Sidewinder, but in a diffrent shape, like a S or Z

Remaking of Last Resort, but longer, bigger beach for invasion

  1. The Pit (with heavy overhaul of artistic aesthetic. Carved into the glacial hills near ONI swordbase?)
  2. Lockout (bring the cool blue and snowy look of lockout with the skybox background of blackout)
  3. Guardian (Maybe a 343 GS inspired art style)
  4. Terminal or turf (ODST art style)
  5. Waterworks or containment (Unique art styles based on original)

Unrealistically, I had always hope they just re-polish every single map, 1-3, and release those.

Somewhat more possible (but still very unlikely) is that they would do a “Best of Compilation Map Pack” sorted out into different categories, possibly voted for by the members of the community. Suggestions:

Best of Halo: Combat Evolved
Best of Halo 2
Best of Halo 3
Best of Small Maps (2-8 players)
Best of BTB Maps (8-16 players)

Oh, so many fun maps to choose from.
