I’ve had Halo 5 since it’s launched, I’ve played it religiously. Even when buying a new game I’d quickly switch back and continue the grind because it was fun. I’m just under 19, so I was pretty young when I first started Halo, technically a life long fan. But, now I’m completely sick of Halo 5 and no longer feel like playing it. There’s issues they haven’t addressed as well as changing things no one has asked for. They’ve nerfed and weakened just about all of the load out weapons so that they’d fit into their own role. But now they all feel weak, useless and underpowered to the magnum, which I’ve always favored. So naturally I was kinda happy. Even before all of this, I was starting to lose interest in Halo. But, this definitely expedited it. Now I’m hearing rumors that they’re just going to make it BR/Gunfighter starts to fix that? I don’t know if it’s true. But if so, what are you smoking 343? It’s like every employee gathers around in a circle to take turns giving ideas to drive people away. It’s working. I used to be able to find games without much of a problem, even at champ. But, now I search forever before I find one or have to Smurf. I used to have dozens of people on my friends list at a time playing Halo. Now I’d be lucky to see more than 12. This was pointless and not very well organized. Long story short, 343 is killing halo, as a life long Halo fan, I no longer care or want to play… How about not killing Halo 6 before it releases, eh? Blarg
Eh, Reach is what killed Halo for me (even MLG dropped it) and Halo 4 just continued it. Halo 5 revived the franchise for me.
I understand that the population is going to die off as time passes. But, it seems that the questionable choices and actions are speeding up the downfall of it. After 2 years of playing it so much, of course it’d start to feel repetitive and boring. So, while trying to spice things up and/or just experiment for H6, it backfired and from what I can tell, the consensus is that the changes were stupid and unnecessary

I loved Halo 5, up until maybe the beginning of 2017, that’s when I lost interest in trying or grinding. It’s just getting old and it’s making it worse that the population in the higher ranks has dropped
