Because Microsoft still has to look over the game and pass it for production, and then they need to produce the Million or so disks, cases, covers, manuals, and LE bonus content that will be released with the game.
Also, you are only waiting another 5 and a half weeks, not 2 months. It’s BARELY more than 1 month.
Cuz now the golden disc is being sent to China, its contents being copied onto hundreds of thousands of discs. Then the process of locking away things available on the disc - so that they may become unlocked by the codes provided from preorder bonuses and other deluxe editions of the game.
Then comes the shipping away to several countries around the world, and further distribution to the retailers located within them.
Nov 6th can’t arrive soon enough. :[
It seems so far away.
It still has to be rated and burnt onto thousands and thousands of disks which will then need to be packaged and shipped worldwide. Considering they’ll do all that in under 40 days proves the existence of magic.
