What song from halo 4-5 would you like to see return in infinite
none of them. I enjoy some tracks from 4, but aesthetically it just does not mesh super well with infinite.
I have several favorites from H4, Green and Blue, Aliens (really captured that ancient feel in an original way I haven’t seen since CE), Haven, Arrival, 117, the list goes on. H4 had some bangers! H5, less so, many of its best tracks are derivations of bungie era themes or previous H4 themes, Though I think its fair to say that H5’s take on the main halo theme (Trials) was very good. Love the bombastic brassy take on it. The Sangheli chant is pretty cool and original but fits a specific theme in the plot. Canticles gets an honorable mention.

Hmm maybe 117 and Arrival from H4 and Forward onto Dawn Axios. I love Axios and it is a shame 343i wont use it for anything.
Of course I love the Iconic Halo Music and for menus 343i should allow players to change music to fit what they want to hear. Fighting Games like Dead or Alive allow you to change music scores all the time.

Playing the flight and hearing the classic music revamped was all I needed. I dont remember too many of the scores from 4 or 5 tbh.
As long as we have that epic main theme I’m good. I loved the music on the tech.

Very memorable moment from that part of the game and the soundtrack definitely helped with that.

Awakening was so underused in Halo 4. It’s a shame because that track was an absolute banger too.

Im hoping they bring a mixture of music back from all previous halo games especially halo 1,2,3 and reach i was very happy to hear that original halo theme played on the main menu of the flight testing! However i wasnt keen on the other music that played as it didnt feel halo at all!
I liked a lot of music from Halo 4 and 5, but I don’t want any of them to return. If ANY of them HAD to, I would want it to be a small reprisal of 117, but really short and just the main melody.
The music from Halo 4 and 5 was objectively good music. It’s not like the artists lacked any skill. But the styles do not compliment Halo’s atmospheric goal.
A few as some have mentioned above. But I would also love some Halo Wars 2 ambient/ main menu like music.
The music in the tech preview just hit me the right way. It was SO good.

I dont agree with that. All halos really have their own feel. I mean, tons of people think rock does not fit halo yet we look at H2. The music needs to fit the game its in and h4s music fits h4s ton very well. As much as people want to say it, it still is a halo game, whether you like it or not. H4 and H5 are now part of halo history and should be included.
That being said, I dont think any of the tracks from h4 would fit into infinite (as of now). Some from h5 could, but h5s music (to me anyway) lacked something. There were some good tracks but something always felt slightly off by them.

I guess I’m a little biased cause I didn’t think H4’s tone fit very well with the rest of Halo either (no disrespect to your opinion though). But I do agree that its music fit the tone well, even if that tone wasn’t exactly my favorite.
117 is all I need. That joint slapped.
