I’ve been seeing lots and lots of ignorance towards Bungie’s Halo (which are opinions and fine), but most importantly, calling out people who actually seem to enjoy what Bungie had to offer (Halo 1-Reach gameplay). I just wanted to say that sure, you may not prefer Bungie and their games and that’s perfectly fine. But halo isn’t just a single fanbase made up of 343 fans. Its been 10 years since the last “good” halo game (halo reach). 10 years. In that time, 343 has obviously gathered a lot of resentment from fans who might just enjoy or love the older games. And maybe even prefer them to 343’s halo.
Now what does this mean exactly? 343i now have to cater to multiple fanbases. The bungie ones, and their own. This isn’t as simple as it sounds. They can’t make a halo 5 sequel without alienating the classic Halo fanbase and obviously they can’t make infinite without alienating the 343 fans.
Put simply, you guys aren’t the only fans of halo. There are many more, and some who actually disliked what they saw today. Don’t go out harassing them for liking the old Bungie halo games and telling them what they like isn’t what modern halo should be and they’re stupid to think it is.

Exactly. Tired of being ignored as a fan since 2010.
I support that we are all true Halo fans. Both classic fans and modern fans. But writing all this is like a child’s tantrum to answer another topic that was written a week ago. I don’t see a good intention in your words. I only see that you want to seek confrontation. Like the rest of the messages you write on the forum.
You should take things slower, nobody here is anyone’s enemy.

Nah. I read the other post and it was clearly having a go unnecessarily at Bungie Halo fans. OP just made this in response and you seem salty it being called out.

And why should I have a tantrum? The OP is the one who has seen it necessary to make a topic responding to another topic created days ago that no longer had attention. I just emphasize that you are not seen to have good intentions beyond creating tension.
